What Is Paizo.com?

Updated

Paizo.com is the official home of the Pathfinder and Starfinder roleplaying games. It is a publisher's website and community hub where you can buy rulebooks, dice, maps, and subscriptions, and also take part in Organized Play, forums, and free resources. If you are looking for the source of Pathfinder or Starfinder products, organized play programs, or official community discussion, this is the site.

What the site offers

The homepage organizes its content around a few main areas:

  • Pathfinder — a high fantasy RPG with deep character customization and tactical storytelling.
  • Starfinder — a science-fantasy RPG set in a future of starships, strange worlds, and space opera action.
  • Store — where physical and digital products such as rulebooks, dice, and maps are sold.
  • Organized Play — Pathfinder Society, Starfinder Society, and Adventure Card Society, which let you play your character in games around the world in a shared setting.
  • Community — the Paizo Blog and Forums, where players discuss rules, share campaign stories, and speculate on upcoming plotlines.
  • Free Resources — materials available for both Pathfinder and Starfinder, including 1st and 2nd Edition sections.

Subscriptions and digital content

The site mentions subscriptions as part of its offering, alongside a Legacy Digital Content Store and a Library for account holders. The homepage also promotes a weekly newsletter that provides news, sales, partner spotlights, and early access opportunities such as playtests and sneak peeks.

Organized Play and local stores

Organized Play is a major part of Paizo.com. It connects players globally through scenarios in a shared setting that responds to player decisions. The site also encourages visiting a local game store (FLGS) to find the latest releases, join in-store events, and connect with other players.

Community and support

The Paizo Forums are described as the hub for all things Pathfinder and Starfinder. For help, customer service is available Monday–Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific, by phone at (425) 250-0800 or by email at [email protected].

Who it is for

Paizo.com is aimed at players and game masters of Pathfinder and Starfinder, organized play participants, and anyone looking for official RPG products, community discussion, or free game resources. If you want to buy the latest hardcover, join a global campaign, or talk with other players, the site provides those entry points.
