How to Find a Professional Member or Resources on the ATP Website

Updated

The Association for Transpersonal Psychology (ATP) website at atpweb.org provides a Professional Members Directory for finding practitioners, plus a Resources section covering newsletters, journals, schools and programs, media, and the Grof Photo Archive. Some resources — including the Journal of Transpersonal Psychology (JTP) archive and Member Resources — require a member login, so plan to join or sign in if you need those.

Finding a Professional Member

ATP offers two directory-related links under its Resources menu:

  • Prof. Member Directory
  • Professional Members Directory (also listed under Quick Links as "Professional Directory")

Use either entry to browse ATP's professional members. The site describes this as the place to "Find a Member Here." The available page evidence does not specify search fields, filters, or whether browsing is open to non-members, so treat the directory as the starting point and expect to explore it directly.

If you want to contact a specific member rather than browse, the general ATP address is [email protected].

Finding Resources on ATP

The Resources dropdown groups ATP's main reference materials:

Resource What it is
Prof. Member Directory Directory of professional members
Current Newsletter ATP's current newsletter
ATP Reflections Newsletter Newsletter archive/title
AHP/ATP Perspective Newsletter Joint AHP/ATP newsletter
Schools and Programs Listings of transpersonal schools and programs
Media that Matters Curated media
Grof Photo Archive Photo archive associated with Stanislav Grof
More Resources Page Additional resource links

The Journal of Transpersonal Psychology (JTP) has its own dropdown with: About JTP, JTP Content, JTP Subscription Information, JTP Advertising Rates, JTP Archive – Member Login, Order the Journal, and Journal of Transpersonal Research.

What Requires a Login or Membership

Two areas are gated:

  • JTP Archive – Member Login — the journal archive is accessed through a member login.
  • Members Only → Member Resources / Member Login — member-only materials.

The site also notes that JTP has subscription information and an order page, so the journal is available through subscription as well as through membership. The page evidence does not state prices or whether any resources are free, so check the subscription and join pages for current terms.

Joining or Renewing

ATP describes itself as a "membership supported international coordinating organization." The site provides:

  • Join/Renew Here (under Members Only)
  • Join ATP today — Join Today for a Wealth of Benefits (homepage link)

Joining is the path to the Members Only area and the JTP member archive. If you only need the public resources (newsletters, schools and programs, media, Grof Photo Archive, professional directory), those are reachable without a member login based on the site's navigation.

Events and News

ATP's News & Events section lists current activities, including:

  • ATP Forum – Online, next scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2026, with guest speaker Vladimir Maykov, President of the Russian Association of Transpersonal Psychology and Psychotherapy.
  • A Lifetime Achievement Award honoring Dr. Stanley Krippner.
