What to Include in Your Inquiry

Gotham Artists' site is built around matching planners with speakers, so a useful first message covers the essentials they need to respond with options:

  • Event date and location (or virtual format)
  • Event type — corporate, education, faith-based, healthcare, military, and other categories are listed on the site
  • Topic or theme — for example leadership, motivation, technology/futurism, wellness, or mental health
  • Audience size and profile
  • Budget range, if you have one, since the site provides a Speaker Fee Guide and a Motivational Speakers Guide for planners

How the Booking Path Works

  1. Browse or search — use the Speaker Search tool or browse by Speaking Topics (African American speakers, business and corporate, celebrity and sports, Christian, education and youth, mental health and healthcare, female, military, sales and leadership, technology, and more).
  2. Compare — the site's stated purpose is to let you compare speaking fees and availability.
  3. Reach out — contact the team by email, phone, or the Contact/GET MATCHED form with your event details.
  4. Get matched — the team responds with speaker options suited to your event.

Common Questions

Is there a fee to inquire? The site does not state any charge for contacting the team or submitting a request; fees relate to speaker bookings, and a Speaker Fee Guide is offered.

Can I book without knowing which speaker I want? Yes — the GET MATCHED – CONTACT US route exists precisely for planners who want recommendations rather than a specific name.

Does Gotham Artists handle more than keynote speakers? The site also lists Gotham Entertainment, covering music, culinary, and comedy bookings, so you can ask about those in the same inquiry.
