Which Experience Fits Your Group?

Solo or a pair. The single-person Falconry Experience (€100) and the two-person Falconry Adventure (€165) are the cheapest entry points. The two-person option works out at €82.50 per person, so it is better value per head than booking two solo sessions.

Small group of five. The five-person Falconry Adventure (€250) brings the per-person cost down to €50 — the lowest per-head rate among the standard experiences.

You want the session to yourselves. The Private Adventure covers 1 to 6 people for €300. If you fill all six places, that is €50 per person, matching the five-person rate while keeping the group private. For smaller private groups the per-person cost rises accordingly.

Companies and large groups. Corporate experiences are priced by capacity rather than per person: €250 for up to 50 people (1 hour), €350 for up to 150 (2 hours), and €450 for 200+ (3 hours). Larger groups get more time as well as more capacity, so the price step reflects both.

What the Experience Involves

The centre describes its offering as hands-on participation in falconry, one of the oldest field sports. Visitors can handle a trained hawk and watch it fly free and return to the gloved fist. Beyond active falconry, the site also presents an educational and photographic facility where visitors can see birds of prey up close. The birds are kept at the centre in Woodenbridge, County Wicklow.

Practical Details Before You Book

  • Check-in time. The four standard experiences list check-in at 11:15, so plan to arrive before then. Corporate experiences do not list a start time on the site — ask when booking.
  • Duration. Standard experiences are "2 hrs plus," meaning the session runs at least two hours. Corporate sessions are fixed at 1, 2, or 3 hours depending on the tier.
  • Location. Rednagh Hill, Aughrim, County Wicklow, Y14N275 — described as less than 2 hours from Dublin city centre, on the banks of the Goldmines river near Woodenbridge.
  • Booking. Each experience has a "See more details & Book" link, and the site also provides a contact form and phone number for enquiries. Use these to confirm current prices, availability, and whether your preferred date is open.

How to Choose

If you are booking for yourself alone, take the €100 single experience. For two people, the €165 Adventure is cheaper per head than two singles. For a group of five, the €250 Adventure is the best per-person value. Choose the €300 Private Adventure if you want an exclusive session for up to six people. For corporate or large-group bookings, pick the tier that matches your headcount and the session length you need, and contact the centre directly to arrange it.
