Where to Find the FAQ, API, and System Status on mcsrvstat.us
Updated
The mcsrvstat.us homepage puts its main navigation in the top bar: FAQ, System status, and API sit alongside a Toggle theme control. Footer links lead to Donate, About, and System status. The page itself is the status checker — enter a server address in the Server address field and select Get server status to query it.

| API | Documentation for programmatic queries | When you want to check servers from a script, bot, or app |
| Toggle theme | Switches between Light, Dark, and Auto | For readability preference only |
The Toggle theme control offers three modes: Light, Dark, and Auto.
Footer links
- Donate — the site states it is ad-free and asks for donations to keep it running.
- About — background on the service.
- System status — same destination as the top-bar link.
Checking a server from the homepage
- Enter the server address in the Server address field.
- Select Get server status.
- If the server is Bedrock, use the Bedrock server? option — the page notes that Minecraft Java (1.7+), Minecraft Bedrock, or servers with
enable-query=trueare supported.
If you don't have an address handy, the page lists test servers, including:
- Java:
play.mineluxmc.com,mc.mineberry.org,mc.manacube.net,extremecraft.net,play.venitymc.com - Bedrock:
performium.net,play.histeria.fr,geo.hivebedrock.network,play.nethergames.org,play.inpvp.net
When to use the API instead
Use the API page when you need repeated or automated checks — for example, a Discord bot that posts server uptime, or a website widget that refreshes status on a schedule. For one-off lookups, the homepage form is faster.
