What Games Has Frogwares Developed?

Updated

Frogwares is the studio behind the Sherlock Holmes series and The Sinking City, and its official site currently highlights two recent releases: The Sinking City 2 and The Sinking City Remastered. If you want to know whether a particular title is available and on which platforms, the site's Games and News sections are the fastest places to check.

What Frogwares Is Known For

Frogwares describes itself as the "Creators of Sherlock Holmes games and The Sinking City." Those two franchises are the clearest starting point if you're deciding whether the studio's output matches your taste:

  • Sherlock Holmes games — a long-running detective series.
  • The Sinking City — a Lovecraftian title set in the flooded city of Arkham.

Recent Releases Listed on the Site

The homepage currently features two titles prominently:

Title Status on site Platforms listed Notes
The Sinking City 2 Out now PC, PS5, Xbox Series Described as a Lovecraftian survival horror set in the flooded ruins of Arkham
The Sinking City Remastered Available now PC, PS5, Xbox Series Rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5; free for existing owners on those platforms

The Sinking City 2's release window was previously moved to the first half of 2026, according to a studio update published October 21, 2025, citing challenges related to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. A later news item dated August 18, 2026 announces it as out now on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.

How to Browse the Full Catalog

The site's navigation includes a Games section and a Gallery, which are the places to look for details on individual titles beyond the homepage highlights. A News section collects announcements, and there's a VIEW ALL NEWS link to see the full list.

If you're trying to decide whether to follow or buy, check the Games page for the title you care about, then confirm platform availability and whether a remaster is free for owners (as is the case with The Sinking City Remastered on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series).
