What Is Wind and Weather?

Updated

Wind and Weather is an online retailer of garden and home décor, with a catalog that runs from whimsical to elegant. Its core categories are wind spinners, wind chimes and mobiles, weather instruments, wall art, and sculptures, plus a broader range of patio, birding, and outdoor living products. If you are shopping for decorative outdoor accents, a weather station, or a gift for someone who gardens, this is the kind of store to check.

What the site sells

The navigation groups products into a few main areas:

Area What it covers
Garden Garden accents, stakes, statues and sculptures, wind chimes and mobiles, wind spinners, arbors and trellises, memorials and signs, pathways and stepping stones, watering solutions, outdoor lighting
Weather Weather instruments, including basic and advanced weather stations, plus barometers, hygrometers, rain gauges, thermometers, and vintage wind instruments
Patio Bird baths, bird feeders, birdhouses, faux plants and flowers, fire and flame, fountains, furniture covers, outdoor furniture, pillows, planters, rugs and mats, wall decor
Home Home accents, barware, blankets and throws, candles, clocks, decorative accents, tableware, kitchenware and serving, lamps and lighting, pillows, rugs and floor coverings, suncatchers, vases, wall decor, window accents, wreaths and garlands
Furniture Accent tables, benches, chairs and seating, racks, stands, displays and shelves
Plants, Planters & Accessories Live plants, faux plants, planters and accessories

There is also a Garden Programs section, which suggests seasonal or curated collections rather than a single product type.

How the catalog is organized

Beyond category, the site lets you browse by theme and by look, which is useful if you have a style in mind rather than a specific item:

  • Favorite Themes: angels and saints, bees, birds, bunnies, butterflies, cats, dogs, dragonflies, fairies and dragons, foxes, frogs, owls, sun, moon and stars, sunflowers, trees, turtles
  • Shop by Look: Americana, bright and colorful, coastal vibe

So a shopper looking for, say, a coastal-themed garden accent or a bird-themed gift can filter by look or theme instead of scrolling the full catalog.

What to know before ordering

A few practical details are visible on the site:

  • Returns: Purchases come with a 30-day return privilege for a refund of the purchase price of any item returned, excluding shipping, handling, and insurance, unless otherwise noted.
  • Payment security: The site states it is PCI compliant, and the Norton Shopping Guarantee seal appears for eligible purchases.
  • Support: A phone number is listed for help, and there is a log-in option for account holders.
  • Offer code: A promo code field appears at the top of the page, so discounts may be available at checkout.

Prices are not shown in the material available here, so check individual product pages for current pricing and availability.

Who it is for

This store fits you if you want decorative pieces for a garden, patio, or home interior and prefer browsing by theme or style. It is a reasonable starting point for weather instrument shoppers too, since it carries both basic and advanced weather stations alongside individual instruments like rain gauges and barometers. If you need structural landscaping materials or live plant care supplies beyond what is listed, the catalog is more decorative than utilitarian.
