What Is Spirit of the Woods Flutes?

Spirit of the Woods Flutes is the website of a flute maker who has retired. The site's own notice states: "Unfortunately, I've retired and I'm no longer making flutes." That means it is no longer an active shop — there is no current ordering or purchasing available through it.

What the site tells you

The page evidence is limited to a single message, and it is unambiguous:

• The maker has retired.
• No new flutes are being made.
• The page functions as a notice, not a storefront.

What this means if you arrived looking to buy

If you found the site while searching for a flute to purchase, the practical takeaway is that this is not a source you can order from. The site does not present current inventory, pricing, or a checkout process — it presents a retirement notice.

Options if you want a flute in this style

Because the maker is no longer producing instruments, anyone interested in a similar flute would need to look elsewhere. Useful directions include:

• Other independent makers who build comparable wooden flutes.
• Secondhand markets, where instruments from retired makers sometimes circulate.
• Player communities and forums, where owners may sell or trade instruments.

Quick reference

If you were hoping to commission or buy an instrument directly, that route is closed. The site remains as a record of the maker's work and a clear statement that no further flutes are being made.
