Where to Find Past Results and Rankings for CivFanatics Game of the Month

Updated

Past results and rankings for CivFanatics Game of the Month (GOTM) live in two main places: the Pantheon of Heroes page for rankings and results, and the Discussion Forum for each individual game. The site also keeps a running list of completed games, labeled by type (Classic or Conquests) and number, so you can confirm which games have already finished before looking up their outcomes.

The Pantheon of Heroes: Rankings and Results

The Pantheon of Heroes is the section to check for rankings and past results. It is listed on the site under Civ3 Links alongside the Newbie's Guide to GOTM, the Code of Conduct, and the FAQ. If you want to see how players have placed over time, this is the first place to look.

Completed Games List: Confirming What Has Finished

The site maintains a list of completed games, split into two tracks:

Track Label on Site Example Entries
Classic GOTM Classic Classic 202, Classic 201, Classic 199
Conquests GOTM (COTM) Conquests Conquests 175, Conquests 174, Conquests 173

The list runs back through many seasons, from recent games like Classic 202 and Conquests 175 down to early ones like Classic 9. Use it to confirm a game has finished and to identify its exact number and type before searching for its results.

Discussion Forums: Strategy and Outcomes

Each game has a discussion forum where players talk through strategies and outcomes. The site links to a Civ3 Discussion Forum and a separate Civ3 S-GOTM Discussion Forum. If you want to understand why a particular result happened, or read how other players approached a map, the forum threads are where that context sits.

Current Games vs. Completed Games

The homepage separates current games from completed ones. At the time of the site snapshot, the current games were:

  • Classic GOTM 203 — Russia, Emperor, submit by Sep 30
  • C3C COTM 176 — India, Demigod, submit by Sep 30

Anything not listed under Current Games appears in the Completed Games list, which is where you should start when hunting for past results.
