How to Download the Annamalai University Ph.D. Entrance Test Hall Ticket (2026–27)

Annamalai University has published the hall ticket download and important instructions for candidates appearing for the Ph.D. Entrance Test / Interview for the 2026–27 session. You download the hall ticket from the official university website, annamalaiuniversity.ac.in, where the notice appears as a link on the home page. This applies to candidates who have applied for Ph.D. admission for 2026–27 and are scheduled to appear for the entrance examination and interview.

Key dates and venue

The examination and interview are conducted in the respective departments and affiliated colleges, not at a single central location. Confirm which department or affiliated college your application is attached to before the exam date.

Steps to download the hall ticket

1. Go to the official website: annamalaiuniversity.ac.in.
2. Look for the notice titled "Important instructions to the candidates appearing for the Ph.D. Entrance Test / Interview and to download Hall Ticket 2026-27." It is displayed as a prominent link on the home page.
3. Open the link and read the important instructions before downloading.
4. Follow the download link or instructions provided in that notice to obtain your hall ticket.
5. Save and print the hall ticket, and read the accompanying instructions carefully.

What to check before the exam

• Read the posted instructions first. The university explicitly directs candidates to follow the important instructions accompanying the hall ticket notice. Requirements such as reporting time, documents to carry, and exam-day rules are stated there.
• Confirm your venue. Since the test and interview are held in the respective departments and affiliated colleges, verify the exact location assigned to you.
• Keep the date clear. The entrance examination and interview are scheduled for Saturday, 26.09.2026.

Common issues

• Cannot find the link: The hall ticket notice is a home-page announcement. If it has scrolled off, check the admissions and examination sections of the site, or the circulars and notices area.
• Unclear venue: Contact the department or affiliated college you applied to, since the university does not conduct this test at one central venue.
• Missing instructions: Do not rely on the hall ticket alone. The notice combines the download link with mandatory instructions for candidates, so open and read the full notice.
