How to Use This List

Each entry above represents a separate series rather than a single image, so the site is organized as a browsable archive of bodies of work. If you want the images that define his reputation, start with Camera Obscura and Tent Camera. If you are interested in how he engages other artists, go to the Pictures on the Ground projects and Paint After Hitchcock. For process-oriented work, look at Cliché Verre and Photograms and Light, Time, Optics, Still Life. For a chronological entry point, begin with 1962-1986.
