KleverList Free vs Pro: What's the Difference?

Updated

KleverList's Free and Pro versions share the same core segmentation toolkit — list mapping, demographics mapping, behavioral tagging, and re-subscription control — so the Free version is enough if you only need to sort customers into lists by product and basic profile data. The Pro version adds Advanced Mapping, which pulls WooCommerce billing, user, and order data into your autoresponder's target lists, enabling geographic, behavioral, B2B, and transactional targeting. Choose Pro only if your campaigns depend on that deeper order-level data.

Features available in both Free and Pro

According to KleverList's own feature breakdown, these capabilities are included in the FREE and PRO versions alike:

  • List segmentation by product — map each individual product, or all products, to specific or generic lists in your autoresponder.
  • Demographics Mapping — send basic customer information to your autoresponder to organize lists.
  • Behavioral tagging — automatically tag customers based on order status for segmentation and re-engagement.
  • Re-subscription control — decide whether previously unsubscribed users are resubscribed or kept unsubscribed.
  • Instant integration — enable subscriptions for one, multiple, or all products with a single click or the bulk selector, including the ability to exclude certain products.

If your goal is simply "put buyers of Product A into List A, tag them by order status, and respect unsubscribes," the Free version covers that workflow.

What Pro adds

The Pro version's distinguishing feature is Advanced Mapping:

Dimension Free Pro
Product-to-list mapping Yes Yes
Demographics Mapping (basic customer info) Yes Yes
Behavioral tagging by order status Yes Yes
Re-subscription control Yes Yes
Advanced Mapping (billing, user, order data to target lists) No Yes
Geographic targeting No Yes
Behavioral targeting No Yes
B2B targeting No Yes
Transactional targeting No Yes

The Pro-only capabilities all flow from the same source: richer WooCommerce data (billing, user, and order fields) being mapped into your autoresponder's lists. That extra data is what makes geographic, B2B, and transactional segments possible.

How to decide

Ask one question: does your segmentation depend on order or billing details, or only on who the customer is and what they bought?

  • Stay on Free if your campaigns target by product purchased, basic customer profile, or order status tags. You get the full segmentation and tagging workflow without paying.
  • Upgrade to Pro if you need to segment by location, order value or history, business vs. consumer attributes, or transactional behavior — these require the billing, user, and order fields that only Advanced Mapping sends to your autoresponder.

Before you commit

Two practical checks:

  1. Confirm your autoresponder is supported. KleverList states integrations are listed on its site and that more are being added, so verify yours appears before relying on either version.
  2. Check current pricing and version terms on the Pricing and Features page, since the Free/Pro split described here reflects the feature list published on KleverList's site and plan details can change.

A reasonable path: install the Free version, build your product-to-list and tagging setup, and upgrade only when a campaign brief specifically requires geographic, B2B, or transactional segments that Free can't produce.
