How do I find notes and practice papers on Holy Grail?
Updated
Go to grail.moe and use the Library to browse free summary notes and practice papers for Singapore O-Level, A-Level, and IB students. You can either browse the full Library, jump into an exam-specific page (O-Level, A-Level, or IB), or filter by subject. Everything is curated by students for students, so the fastest path is to pick your exam level first, then your subject.
Start from the Library
The Library is the main entry point for all resources. From the homepage, choose Browse the Library to see the full collection of summary notes and practice papers.
If you already know your exam level, you can skip straight to a dedicated page instead:
- O-Level — GCE 'O' Level subjects for Secondary students
- A-Level — GCE 'A' Level subjects for JC students
- IB — International Baccalaureate subjects
Each of these pages lists the subjects available at that level, so you can narrow down before opening individual resources.
Browse by subject
Once you're in the Library, you can browse by subject rather than scrolling through everything. The site organizes resources by exam level and subject, so the practical flow is:
- Pick your exam level (O-Level, A-Level, or IB).
- Pick your subject from that level's list.
- Open the summary notes or practice papers you need.
Subjects shown on the site
| Exam level | Subjects listed |
|---|---|
| O-Level | Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (+ 2 more) |
| A-Level | H2 Math, H2 Physics, H2 Chemistry, H2 Economics (+ 1 more) |
| IB | Math AA/AI, Physics, Chemistry, Economics (+ 1 more) |
The "+ more" entries mean the visible list is not exhaustive — open the level page or the full Library to see the complete subject set.
What you'll find
Resources come in two main forms:
- Summary notes — condensed revision material for a subject.
- Practice papers — papers to work through ahead of exams.
Both are described as free on the site, and the collection is positioned around exam preparation ("Exams are coming. Your notes are here.").
If you want to contribute
Holy Grail also invites students to share their own notes. If you want to help others, use Sign Up to Contribute to join the contributor community and upload your notes.
