How to Subscribe to Intercessors for Israel Prayer Updates
Updated
Intercessors for Israel (ifi.org.il) sends out prayer updates by email, and you can sign up directly on its website. The subscription form asks for your first name, last name, and a valid email address, and it requires you to choose at least one newsletter and at least one language before it will accept your sign-up. The site states that updates go out every Friday to keep readers informed and encourage them to pray.
What you can subscribe to
The sign-up form offers two newsletters:
- Friday Prayer Points — the weekly prayer update. The site links to the latest prayer points, which follow a praise-and-prayer format tied to the current week (for example, a recent edition opened with Succoth, the feast of Tabernacles, and cited Zechariah 14:9).
- Watchmen from Jerusalem — the organization's newsletter, with the latest issue also linked from the site.
You must select at least one of these. Selecting both is allowed.
Choosing a language
The form also requires at least one language. The available options listed on the page are:
| English | עברית | Русский | Deutsch |
| Svenska | 中文 | Nederlands | Français |
| Español | Suomi | Norsk | 한국어 |
| Italiano | Português |
Pick the language or languages you actually read, since the updates will arrive in the language(s) you select.
Steps to subscribe
- Go to ifi.org.il and find the Subscribe to our mailing list section.
- Enter your First Name and Last Name.
- Enter a valid Email address. The form notes this field is required and must be a valid email.
- Under Sign up for, check Friday Prayer Points, Watchmen from Jerusalem, or both. At least one is required.
- Under Language(s), check at least one language.
- Submit the form.
What to expect after signing up
- A weekly email on Fridays with prayer points, intended to keep you informed and encourage you to pray.
- Occasional issues of Watchmen from Jerusalem if you selected that newsletter.
- Content in whichever language(s) you chose.
Common snags
- Form won't submit: the two most likely causes are an invalid email address and no newsletter or language selected — both are explicitly required.
- Wrong language: language is chosen at sign-up, so if you pick one you don't read comfortably, the updates will be hard to use. Select carefully the first time.
- Nothing arriving: check your spam or promotions folder, since a weekly bulk email is easy to filter out of the inbox.
The site also offers other resources beyond the mailing list, including videos, teachings, and a free downloadable booklet, Mortal Danger, compiled from Eliyahu Ben-Haim's final messages. These are separate from the email subscription and don't require signing up for the newsletter.
