What Is GTASnP.com?

Updated

GTASnP.com is a save file sharing and tools site for the Grand Theft Auto series, maintained and hosted by Samutz. If you want to hand a GTA save to someone else, grab a save at a specific point in the story, or get help past a mission you're stuck on, this is the site built for that. It covers GTA III, Vice City, San Andreas, GTA IV, and GTA V.

What you can do on the site

  • Upload a save file. Select a save from your device or drag and drop it onto the upload area. A classic upload form is available as a fallback if the main uploader doesn't work.
  • Browse saves. Public uploads are listed for others to find and download.
  • Use save-related tools. The site's navigation includes a Save N Play tool alongside Preferences and Help.
  • Check what's allowed. A Supported Games page lists which save types the site accepts.

How uploads behave

Two rules matter before you upload anything:

  • Files expire. Every new upload is automatically deleted 30 days after its last download. If nobody downloads it for a month, it's gone.
  • Files are public and anonymous. Uploads aren't private, and they aren't tied to an account. Don't upload a save you want to keep to yourself.

Supported games and recent changes

The site lists GTA III, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas, GTA IV, and GTA V among its supported games. Two formats have been dropped:

Format Status Reason given
Red Dead Redemption 2 saves No longer accepted Save data is encrypted and not readable by the site; non-save files were being uploaded disguised as RDR 2 saves
Pre-1.06 GTA San Andreas mobile saves No longer accepted Extra data made them unreadable; fixed in game version 1.06 over 10 years ago
GTA V saves Still supported Data is encrypted, but the maintainer reports receiving information that may allow the site to read it

Existing uploads of the discontinued formats remain available for now.

What's planned

The maintainer is working on a large site update that, if testing goes well, would add better GTA V support: stats, mission progress, and a collectible map. No release date has been given.

Who it's for

  • Players stuck on a mission who want to hand their save to someone else to complete it.
  • Players who want to jump into a GTA game at a specific point without replaying hours of story.
  • Anyone trading or archiving GTA saves who doesn't mind them being public.

If you need private storage, permanent hosting, or support for RDR 2 or older San Andreas mobile saves, this site isn't the right fit.
