EnglishWhat Is the Haas Factory Team and Which Racing Series Does It Compete In?
Updated
The Haas Factory Team is the NASCAR operation associated with the Haas racing organization, and haasfactoryteam.com is its official team website. If you are looking for information on Haas in Formula 1, that is a separate program (Haas F1 Team); the "Factory Team" name refers to the NASCAR side of the Haas motorsport footprint. The site itself is the team's own channel for news, schedules, drivers, and partner information, so it is the place to check when you want first-hand team announcements rather than third-party coverage.
What "Factory Team" means here
In NASCAR, a "factory team" generally signals a manufacturer-backed or manufacturer-aligned operation — the team runs cars and receives support in coordination with a car manufacturer, rather than operating as a fully independent privateer. The name distinguishes this entry from other Haas-branded racing efforts and ties it to the manufacturer relationship behind the cars.
Which racing series it competes in
The Haas Factory Team competes in NASCAR, the premier stock-car racing series in the United States. NASCAR itself is organized into national touring series (the Cup Series being the top level, with Xfinity and Truck Series below it), plus regional and international divisions. If you need to confirm exactly which NASCAR series the team currently fields entries in, check the team's own site — series entries can change between seasons, and the official site reflects the current lineup.
How it relates to other Haas racing projects
| Project | Series | Relationship |
|---|---|---|
| Haas Factory Team | NASCAR | The NASCAR operation covered by haasfactoryteam.com |
| Haas F1 Team | Formula 1 | Separate program under the same broader Haas racing name |
The two share a name and an owner-level connection but are distinct operations: different series, different cars, different technical regulations, and different websites. Do not assume news, drivers, or results from one apply to the other.
What you can find on haasfactoryteam.com
As the official team website, it is the primary source for:
- Team and driver news and announcements
- Race schedules and event information
- Team background, partners, and merchandise or fan information
Because it is the team's own site, it is the most reliable place to verify current details — driver lineups, series entries, and schedules — before relying on secondary sources.
Quick way to decide if this is what you want
- You want NASCAR team info → haasfactoryteam.com is the right source.
- You want Formula 1 info → go to the Haas F1 Team site instead.
- You want to confirm current drivers or series → use the official site, since rosters and entries change by season.
