Who Is Elisa Kleven and What Does She Create?

Elisa Kleven is a children's book author and illustrator. Her website, elisakleven.com, identifies her in exactly those two roles, so if you are looking for the person behind a picture book credited to that name, this is her official site. The site is aimed at readers, educators, and families who want to know about her and her work rather than at buyers of a product or service.

What the site confirms

The homepage carries a single welcome heading and the description "Elisa Kleven, Children's Book Author and Illustrator." That is the core of what the site establishes about her:

• Author — she writes children's books.
• Illustrator — she also creates the artwork for them.
• Audience — children, and by extension the adults who read with them.

Nothing on the page indicates pricing, subscriptions, or a store, so treat elisakleven.com as an informational author site rather than a shop or a service.

What she creates

Her work sits in the children's picture book space, where the text and the illustrations are both part of the reading experience. Because she works in both roles, the books credited to her name are ones where the writing and the visual storytelling come from the same person — a common setup for picture books, where words and images share the page.

If you arrived here from a specific book, the practical check is simple: look at the cover credit. A book listing Elisa Kleven as author, illustrator, or both is consistent with what the site says about her.

When this page is useful to you

• You want to confirm that Elisa Kleven is a children's book author and illustrator.
• You are checking whether a book you have is connected to her.
• You are a parent, teacher, or librarian looking into a picture book creator before sharing her work with children.

If instead you need pricing, ordering, or availability of a specific title, this site's homepage does not provide that — you would need a bookseller or library catalog for those details.
