What is Providence Spillproof Container (kcup.com)?

Updated

kcup.com is the online home of Providence Spillproof Container, a US maker and seller of spillproof drinking and dining aids. Its best-known product is the Kennedy Cup, a spillproof cup designed for all ages. The site also sells adaptive mugs, specialty lids, adaptive dishes, nosey cups, and daily-living aids. It is aimed at three groups: individuals who need spillproof drinking or eating support, organizations such as care facilities, and distributors. One practical detail matters before you shop: individuals are directed to contact a dealer rather than order directly, while organizations can order online or contact the company to place a purchase order.

Who it is for

The site splits its audience into three groups, and the buying path differs for each.

Audience What the site says to do
Individuals Contact one of the dealers listed on the Dealers page
Organizations Order online, or contact the company to place a purchase order
Distributors Contact the company for wholesale orders

If you are buying for yourself or a family member, the dealer route is the one the site points you to. If you represent a care organization, online ordering or a purchase order is available. If you want to resell, you need to reach out about wholesale.

What to check before buying

  • Confirm the right cup and lid combination. Kennedy Cup lids are listed separately from the cups, and specialty lids come in 6-packs, so a cup purchase may not include the lid style you want.
  • Match the aid to the need. The range covers spillproof cups, handled and handle-free mugs, cutout nosey cups, adaptive plates, and urinals — these solve different problems, so pick by the specific task rather than by product name.
  • Use the dealer path if you are an individual. The site does not present a direct individual checkout; it directs individuals to its dealer list.
  • Check the FAQ and Dealers pages. Both are linked in the site navigation and are the fastest way to resolve ordering and product questions.
