How to Buy Tickets for Sheffield Steelers Home Games

Updated

The Sheffield Steelers official site (sheffieldsteelers.co.uk) is the starting point for home-game tickets. The homepage surfaces the next home fixture directly — opponent, date and face-off time — alongside a "Buy tickets" action. For the fixture currently shown, that reads: Steelers v Devils, Sun 30 Aug, face-off 16:00, Buy tickets. Use that button to reach the official ticketing channel; the site itself does not publish prices on the page evidence available, so treat any figure you see as coming from the ticket seller, not the club homepage.

What the homepage tells you before you click

The "Latest Sheffield Steelers news" area doubles as the fixture and ticketing hub. From it you can confirm:

  • Opponent — who the Steelers are playing at home
  • Date — the day of the game
  • Face-off time — when the puck drops, which is also your practical arrival deadline
  • Buy tickets — the entry point to purchase

Because the homepage only promotes the next home game, it is a reliable source for the imminent fixture but not a full season schedule. If you are planning further ahead, expect to look beyond the homepage block.

Steps to buy

  1. Open sheffieldsteelers.co.uk.
  2. Find the next home game panel (opponent, date, face-off time).
  3. Select Buy tickets.
  4. Complete the purchase in the official ticketing flow that opens.

Expected result: you hold a ticket for a specific home fixture, with the date and face-off time matching what the homepage displayed.

Common sticking points

  • Only the next home game is featured. If you want a later fixture, the homepage panel will not show it — you need the fuller schedule or the ticketing site itself.
  • Face-off time is not the arrival time. Doors, queues and arena entry all sit before 16:00 in the example above; plan to be inside well before face-off.
  • Prices and payment methods are not stated on the homepage. Do not assume a price, a free entry, or a specific card from the club page alone — those details belong to the ticket seller.
  • Away games are not covered here. This route is for home fixtures at the Steelers' own arena.

Beyond tickets: other things on the site

The homepage also links to Steelers experiences (VIP-style offerings, including a "Beat Boxes" collection in the club store), Game highlights, and a Support the Steelers. Win big. section, plus Official partners. These are separate from standard match tickets — if you want an upgraded matchday rather than a seat, the experiences route is the one to explore, and it sits in the store rather than the ticket button.
