What Is the Relationship Between Empire Earth Heaven and Empire Earth 2 Heaven?

Empire Earth Heaven and Empire Earth 2 Heaven are sister sites within the same HeavenGames gaming community network. Empire Earth Heaven focuses on the original Empire Earth, while Empire Earth 2 Heaven covers Empire Earth II. The two sites are separate destinations under one community umbrella, and Empire Earth Heaven explicitly points visitors to Empire Earth 2 Heaven for information about the later game in the franchise.

How the two sites divide their coverage

The split follows the games themselves rather than a single site trying to cover the whole series.

Empire Earth Heaven's own welcome text describes itself as "A HeavenGames Gaming Community" and then directs readers: "Don't Forget to visit Empire Earth 2 Heaven to check out the latest version of the franchise!" That line is the clearest statement of the relationship — the two are linked, but they are not the same site.

What Empire Earth Heaven itself offers

If you land on Empire Earth Heaven, the site is organized around a few main areas:

• Visit — entry point to the site
• Community — including the Empire Earth Heaven Forums, where the site says "You have Questions? We have Answers!"
• Game Info — detailed sections on Units, Buildings, and Technologies
• Strategies — gameplay guidance
• Downloads — files for the game

There is also a Game FAQ, a Gallery with pictures, and a news forum created in March 2025 for Empire Earth announcements.

Why the distinction matters

Because the sites are split by game, searching for Empire Earth II content on Empire Earth Heaven will only get you a pointer to the sister site. If your interest is the original game — its campaigns, skirmish mode, or mods — Empire Earth Heaven is the relevant destination. If you want Empire Earth II, go to Empire Earth 2 Heaven directly.

The shared HeavenGames branding means both sites follow the same community format: forums, game information sections, strategies, and downloads, just applied to different titles.

A recent development that affects both audiences

Empire Earth Heaven announced that the entire Empire Earth series was released on Steam for the first time, including:

• Empire Earth: Gold Edition
• Empire Earth II: Gold Edition
• Empire Earth III

These are available together in the Empire Earth Collection bundle. The post notes the collection was released on Steam on May 26 by Rebellion, and links to the Empire Earth Gold Edition Steam page. For players who grew up with the original campaigns or still play with mods, this is a notable moment for the community — and it spans both the original game and its sequel, which is exactly the divide the two Heaven sites cover.
