How to Stay Connected with Fredericksburg United Methodist Church (FBGUMC)

Fredericksburg United Methodist Church (FBGUMC) keeps its community connected through Sunday worship, a newsletter mailing list, an archive of past newsletters, and RSVP-based events at its campus on 1800 Llano St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624. If you want updates delivered to you, the newsletter sign-up is the main channel; if you prefer to show up in person, the Sunday service times and monthly events below are your entry points.

Join the Newsletter Mailing List

The site offers a single sign-up link for its mailing list, described as a way to "get the latest news & updates delivered to your inbox."

• Sign-up link: the "SIGN UP" / "Click Here" newsletter link on the FBGUMC site
• What you get: news and updates from the church
• Past issues: the same section notes you can "view our past newsletters," so you can read back issues before subscribing

If you only want occasional updates rather than a weekly commitment, subscribing to the mailing list is the lowest-effort option — you can unsubscribe later without changing anything about your in-person involvement.

Attend Sunday Worship and Programs

Sunday is the main weekly gathering point, with three consecutive time blocks:

Beyond Sunday, the church lists ongoing programs you can join: Children's Programs, Youth Programs, Music Programs, Choir, and the Fredericksburg Music Academy. If you are deciding where to start, pick the service style that fits you (contemporary at 9:00 AM, traditional at 11:10 AM) and use the 10:00 AM hour for Sunday School or to ask about the programs.

RSVP for Upcoming Events

Several events are listed with dates and RSVP options. All take place at 1800 Llano St unless noted.

• UWF Soul Care Mini Retreat — Nov 14, 2026, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM. A morning of guided spiritual practices for women. RSVP listed.

For any event marked RSVP, use the RSVP option on the event listing rather than just showing up — capacity and materials may depend on it.

Visit in Person

• Address: 1800 Llano St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624
• Best first visit: a Sunday service, since all three time blocks run back to back and you can stay for Sunday School or ask staff about programs afterward
• Recurring reason to return: the Mobile Food Pantry on the last Wednesday of each month and the Music Club concert on the third Sunday

Which Channel Should You Use?

• Want updates without attending yet → newsletter mailing list
• Want to check the church's tone and history first → past newsletters archive
• Ready to attend → Sunday 9:00 AM or 11:10 AM service
• Want a specific program or event → RSVP on the event listing, then confirm the date and location

The site's own framing — "Come & See" — matches this order: subscribe or read past newsletters to get oriented, then visit on a Sunday or at one of the monthly events.
