Dates shown on the site

The events section lists the following upcoming dates:

  • Emmanuel 101 — Sun, Sep 27, 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM
  • Women's Bible Study — Sun, Sep 27; Sun, Oct 04; Sun, Oct 11; Sun, Oct 18; Sun, Oct 25 (5:00 PM – 6:00 PM each date)
  • Iron Sharpens Iron: Brothers in Christ — Sun, Sep 27; Sun, Oct 04; Sun, Oct 11; Sun, Oct 18; Sun, Oct 25 (5:00 PM – 6:15 PM each date)

The year shown in the listings is 2026. Because the site labels the women's and men's groups as "Multiple Dates," the series is presented as ongoing rather than a one-off, while Emmanuel 101 appears as a single scheduled session.

How these fit the weekly rhythm

These events sit alongside the church's regular weekly gatherings:

  • Sundays: 9:30 AM Bible Study, 10:50 AM Worship, 5:00 PM Youth SN L
  • Wednesdays: 5:00 PM Supper, 5:45 PM Prayer Meeting, 5:45 PM Youth and Children's Activities

The Sunday 5:00 PM slot is shared by the Women's Bible Study, Iron Sharpens Iron, and Youth SN L, so several groups meet at the same time in different rooms.

What to do if you want to attend

  1. Open the event listing on emmanuelalexandria.org and select the event you are interested in.
  2. Use the "Details" or "Learn more" link attached to that listing to confirm the current date, time, and any instructions.
  3. Note the address — 430 Jackson St, Alexandria, LA 71301 — and arrive a few minutes before the start time, since the Sunday 5:00 PM groups begin promptly alongside other activities.

If a date you want is not shown, check back on the events section: the "Multiple Dates" label indicates the church adds future sessions as they are scheduled. For anything not covered in the listing, such as childcare or what to bring, contact the church directly rather than assuming details the page does not state.
