What Is Kadingers and What Services Does It Offer?
Kadingers is a family-owned scrap metal buyer and metal recycling business located just outside Downing, Wisconsin. According to its website, it has served Western Wisconsin for over 60 years and pays cash for scrap metal. If you have scrap metal, a junk car, appliances, or similar materials to get rid of, Kadingers is set up to buy them directly, rent you a dumpster, or work with you on an industrial account.
What Kadingers buys
The site states that Kadingers buys scrap metal daily and pays cash. Specific items named on the homepage include:
- Scrap metal
- Scrap cars
- Appliances
- Catalytic converters
- Aluminum cans
- "and more" (the site does not list every accepted item)
Because the site only names these categories, it's worth calling ahead if you have something outside this list — for example, large industrial equipment or mixed loads — to confirm it's accepted before hauling it in.
Services offered
Kadingers describes three main ways to do business with them:
| Service | What it means |
|---|---|
| Buying scrap metal | You bring scrap to their site and get paid cash |
| Roll-off dumpsters | You rent a dumpster for scrap metal disposal |
| Industrial services | Businesses can set up an industrial account |
The site also mentions three ways to work with them: bring your scrap directly to the site, rent a dumpster, or set up an industrial account. This makes the business relevant both to individual homeowners cleaning out a garage and to companies that generate metal waste regularly.
Pricing
Kadingers does not publish prices on its website. Instead, the homepage directs visitors to find current pricing on Facebook. That means if you want to know what your scrap is worth before you go, you'll need to check their Facebook page or call them directly.
