What Is UNM Alumni Connect?

Updated

UNM Alumni Connect (unmalumni.com) is the official online community home for alumni of the University of New Mexico. It is a portal where Lobos — UNM's alumni — can join the community, log in, search the alumni directory, find events, access benefits, and stay connected to the university. If you are a UNM graduate looking for one place to manage your alumni relationship, this is that site. Note that some areas, such as the directory and personalized community features, sit behind a "Join Community" or "Login" step, so you will need an account to get the full experience.

Who runs it and what it is for

The site is operated by the UNM Alumni Relations Office, with a Board of Directors and staff listed in the navigation. Its purpose is to connect alumni to each other and to the university through events, programs, career resources, and giving opportunities. The site also links out to related UNM entities such as the UNM Foundation and the UNM Official Ring Shop.

When this site is the right starting point

Use UNM Alumni Connect if you want an official, university-run channel to reconnect with UNM, attend alumni events, or use career and benefits resources. If you only need general university news or admissions information, a different UNM site will serve you better. If you want to be listed in and search the alumni directory, plan on creating an account first, since that area requires joining the community or logging in.
