What Is Fan Access (Formerly Leafs Insider) for the Toronto Maple Leafs?

Updated

Fan Access is the Toronto Maple Leafs' fan membership program, renamed from Leafs Insider. It is a free-to-join fan program, not a ticket product — it gives members a "front row seat for exclusive team offers, content, giveaways and more," according to the Fan Zone site. You join it through the Fan Zone website at leafsnation.mapleleafs.com by selecting "JOIN NOW" in the Fan Access section.

What Fan Access actually is

The Fan Zone page describes Fan Access as the rebranded version of Leafs Insider: "Leafs Insider is now Fan Access—your front row seat for exclusive team offers, content, giveaways and more."

Two things follow from that wording:

  • It is a membership/access program, not a seat, ticket, or subscription tier tied to attending games.
  • The listed benefits are offers, content, and giveaways — the site does not publish a detailed benefit schedule, so treat the categories above as the scope rather than a fixed list.

What you get

Based on the Fan Zone page, the program is positioned around:

Benefit category What the site says
Exclusive team offers Described as part of the Fan Access membership
Content Team content delivered to members
Giveaways Member giveaways
"And more" Unspecified on the page

The page does not itemize specific offers, content formats, or giveaway rules, so check the Fan Access section itself after joining for current details.

How to join

  1. Go to the Fan Zone site at leafsnation.mapleleafs.com.
  2. Find the Fan Access section (the page heading for it is "Fan access").
  3. Select JOIN NOW.

The site does not publish the signup form fields, eligibility rules, or whether an account with an existing Leafs/NHL login is required, so complete the flow on the site to see what it asks for.

Related things on the same page

The Fan Zone page also links to other fan-facing items, which are separate from Fan Access membership:

  • In-Game Experiences and Request Birthday Messages
  • In-Game Assist (links to Scotiabank Arena's fan experience page)
  • Arrival Updates, Parking, Lost & Found, and Plan Your Visit (Scotiabank Arena planning page)
  • Contests — the page notes to "check back during the 2026-2027 Toronto Maple Leafs season for contests and promotions"
  • Games — browser games with leaderboards, playable via "Play Now"
  • Mastercard holder perks with the Maple Leafs
  • The official Toronto Maple Leafs app download

Common points of confusion

  • Fan Access vs. tickets: The page presents Fan Access as a membership with offers, content, and giveaways. Nothing on the page describes it as a ticket, seat, or ticket-priority product.
  • Fan Access vs. contests: Contests are listed as their own section with a note to check back for the 2026-2027 season, so contest availability and Fan Access membership are presented separately.
  • Cost: The page does not state a price for Fan Access. Do not assume it is free or paid based on the page alone — confirm during signup.
