How to Find a BJC Hospital, Location, or Provider
Updated
Go to bjc.org and use the Find a Provider or Find a Location links to search for care. BJC Health System spans 14 hospitals, multiple convenient care locations, virtual video visits, and outpatient centers, so the right entry point depends on whether you already know the doctor or facility you want. If you do, the location pages list addresses and phone numbers directly; if you don't, start with the provider search and filter by the type of care you need.
The two search paths on bjc.org
| What you know | What to use | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| A doctor's name or specialty | Find a Provider | Provider profiles and contact routes |
| A hospital or clinic name | Find a Location | Address, phone number, and a page for more detail |
| Only your symptom or urgency level | Find care categories (Primary, Virtual, Convenient, Emergency) | The appropriate care setting, then a provider or location |
The homepage groups care into four types — Primary Care, Virtual Care, Convenient Care, and Emergency Care — each with a "More about" link. Choosing a category first narrows the location or provider list before you search.
Finding a specific hospital
BJC location pages follow a consistent format: name, street address, city, state, ZIP, and a direct phone number. Three examples listed on bjc.org:
- Barnes-Jewish Hospital — One Barnes-Jewish Hospital Plaza, St. Louis, MO 63110 — 314-747-3000
- Missouri Baptist Medical Center — 3015 N. Ballas Road, St. Louis, MO 63131 — 314-996-5000
- St. Louis Children's Hospital — One Children's Place, St. Louis, MO 63110 — 314-454-6000
Each entry links to a "More about" page for that facility. Use the phone number for questions the website doesn't answer, such as current visiting hours or department-specific scheduling.
If you need care today
Same-day options appear on the homepage under Same-Day Care, alongside the main search tools. Convenient care locations handle minor injuries and illnesses in person, and virtual care covers minor injuries or illnesses by video seven days a week. Emergency departments operate 24/7 across the system. Match the setting to the urgency before you search for a location — it changes which facilities are relevant.
Other actions available from the same page
The homepage also links to Pay a Bill, Login to MyChart, and a Billing & Financial Assistance section that includes a Price Transparency page. These sit alongside the search tools, so you can move between finding care and handling billing without leaving bjc.org.
Common snags
- JavaScript required for forms. The newsletter signup on the homepage states JavaScript must be enabled. If a form doesn't respond, check your browser settings before assuming the site is down.
- MyChart opens in a new tab. The login link is marked as opening in a new tab, so a pop-up blocker can silently stop it.
- Provider vs. location are separate searches. Searching a hospital name won't return individual doctors, and searching a doctor won't list every facility where they practice. Run both if you need a specific provider at a specific hospital.
