EnglishWhat is Devizes Town Football Club's official website?
Updated
devizestownfootball.co.uk is the official website of Devizes Town Football Club, a grassroots football club founded in 1884 and playing in the Jewson Western League. The site is the club's own page for fixtures, results, club news, and its monthly club lottery, and it invites supporters to follow the team online and attend matches in person.
What the club is
Devizes Town FC — nicknamed "The Town" — describes itself as "the beating heart of local football since 1884." The club presents itself as a community club with over a century of history, competing in the Jewson Western League and, in its recent match reporting, in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division at The Grist Environmental Ground.
Its stated identity is built around three words used on the homepage: Pride. Passion. and the line "We are Devizes Town FC."
What you'll find on the site
| Section | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| Club introduction | History since 1884, league affiliation, and community framing |
| News feed | Match updates, scores, and club posts (sourced from the club's Facebook activity) |
| Fixtures and results | The club asks visitors to bookmark the page to keep up with the latest |
| Monthly Club Lottery | Entry details and prizes (see below) |

The news feed shows live-style updates, for example a full-time result of Devizes Town 2–0 Mangotsfield Utd, with scorers and half-time/full-time posts. Match reports credit individual players and sponsors, such as two goals from Callum Demkiv.
The Monthly Club Lottery
The homepage promotes a recurring fundraiser:
- First prize: £200
- Bonus prizes: 4 × £25
- Cost: £5 per ball, with no limit on entries
- Draw date: the first Friday of every month
- Stated purpose: entry helps improve facilities and community outreach
Queries go to [email protected] or 07775 338897. The site does not state any age restriction, licensing detail, or payment method for entries, so check directly with the club before signing up.
