What Music Recordings Can I Buy from The Cockman Family Website?

Updated

The Cockman Family website sells physical recordings directly through its online store — primarily CDs, plus at least one thumb drive release. As of the site's current listing, 11 products are shown, with individual CDs priced at $15.00 and bulk discounts applied automatically at checkout. If you want a specific title, the store page is the place to order it; if you're looking for digital downloads or streaming links, the provided site content doesn't show any.

What's in the store

The recordings listed on the site include:

Title Format Price
Cockman Family Christmas CD – Maker of the Stars CD $15.00
Billy Cockman – Shepherd's Journey (Banjo Christmas CD) CD $15.00
The Cockman Brothers – Acoustic Jam CD CD Listed
A Letter From Home CD Listed
A Letter From Home Thumb drive Listed

The store displays all 11 results on one page, so the table above covers the titles named in the site's product headings — the remaining items follow the same CD format and pricing pattern.

How buying works

  1. Browse the store section of the site, where all recordings are listed with titles and prices.
  2. Add items to cart using the "Add to cart" button shown next to each product.
  3. Check out through the site's checkout page (cockmanfamily.com/checkout/).

Two things worth knowing before you order:

  • Bulk discounts apply automatically. The store states this directly, so if you're buying multiple copies — say, for gifts or a church group — the discount is applied without a code.
  • The site shows a checkout page but no listed payment platforms. The provided content doesn't specify which payment methods are accepted, so confirm that during checkout.

What the site does not appear to sell

Based on the available listing, there's no evidence of:

  • Digital downloads or MP3s
  • Streaming subscriptions
  • Sheet music, tablature, or instructional materials
  • Merchandise beyond recordings

If any of those exist, they aren't reflected in the store listing shown.

About the recordings

The Cockman Family has been performing and recording for over three decades and is inducted into the Blue Ridge Music Hall of Fame. The band — from the foothills of North Carolina — plays a distinct bluegrass gospel style, with members including John Cockman Sr. (guitar), Caroline Cockman Fisher (lead vocals), John Cockman Jr. (fiddle, bass vocals), Billy Cockman (banjo, tenor vocals), David Cockman (bass), and Ben Cockman (guitar, mandolin, baritone vocals). The Christmas titles and the A Letter From Home release fit that gospel and holiday catalog.

If you'd rather hear them live first
