What Do CELA Spanish School Online Courses Include?
Updated
CELA Spanish School's online courses are structured self-study programs for Spanish learners at levels A1 through C2, combining video and text materials with tutor feedback by email and WhatsApp. Each level costs a one-time fee of US$ 260 and includes teacher feedback plus a school certificate. You can start at any time and work at your own pace, and the courses cover both Latin American and Peninsular (Spain) Spanish.
Course content by skill area
The materials are organized into four areas, each with its own exercise types and feedback channel.
Grammar
- Explanatory videos in Spanish and English
- Grammar exercises with answer keys for self-checking
- Grammar assignments corrected by your teacher via email
Reading and listening
- Texts on current topics, selected for your level
- Listening comprehension videos matched to each language level
Pronunciation and expression
- Reading-aloud exercises with feedback via WhatsApp
- Ongoing pronunciation explanations and drills with feedback
- Written expression tasks with personalized corrections and error analysis
- Oral expression tasks with feedback via WhatsApp
Vocabulary
- Expansion through selected reading texts, videos, and targeted assignments
How the feedback works
Two channels carry the tutor support that comes with the course fee:
| Channel | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Corrected grammar assignments | |
| Reading-aloud feedback, pronunciation drills, oral expression tasks |
Written expression tasks receive personalized corrections and error analysis. The self-checking answer keys let you verify grammar exercises on your own before or alongside teacher correction.
Optional live lessons
Live online lessons via video conference can be added flexibly to a self-study course if you want more oral communication and direct contact with a teacher. These are a separate offering from the self-study course itself.
Who this format suits
The self-study structure fits learners who want to set their own schedule and pace while still receiving professional tutor feedback, rather than attending fixed class times. Because the course starts at any time and spans A1 to C2, it works for both beginners and advanced learners. The mix of Latin American and Peninsular Spanish is intended to help you understand speakers from different regions.
