Can I Still Buy a RocketTheme Membership or Get Support?

Updated

No. RocketTheme closed on June 30, 2025, and with it the member club, member downloads, and support forum. No new memberships or renewals are available, and there is no paid support channel to buy into. What remains is a free, open-source archive: Gantry themes, RocketLauncher installers, and the Gantry framework itself on GitHub, plus the Gantry project site now stewarded by Tiger12.

What closed on June 30, 2025

RocketTheme ran for twenty years, building premium themes and extensions for Joomla, WordPress, phpBB, and Grav, along with the Gantry theme framework that powered them. All of that commercial infrastructure ended at once:

  • Membership sales — no new memberships or renewals
  • Member downloads — the gated template and extension library
  • Support forum — the community and ticket-based help desk
  • The site itself — the club closed alongside it

If you were mid-subscription or planning to renew, there is nothing left to purchase. Any page still advertising a subscription is not a live RocketTheme offer.

What you can still get, and where

The archives are free and open source. Nothing here requires a membership.

Resource What it is Where
RocketTheme on GitHub Free Gantry themes, RocketLauncher installers, developer tooling github.com/rockettheme
Gantry Framework The open-source theme framework for Joomla, WordPress, and Grav gantry.org

Gantry is not abandoned. It is now in the hands of Tiger12, its official steward, and is still actively maintained — so if your question is specifically about framework updates, that is the project to watch rather than a closed RocketTheme account.

Where to go for help now

With the forum gone, ongoing help comes from the successor projects rather than RocketTheme itself. The founder and team kept building, and these are the current destinations:

  • Trilby Media (trilby.media) — the studio behind RocketTheme; Grav CMS consulting, custom development, managed hosting, and the only official Grav SLA
  • Grav CMS (getgrav.org) — the flat-file CMS started at RocketTheme in 2014, now shipping as Grav 2.0
  • KahunaCart (kahunacart.com) — ecommerce built into Grav, licensed once
  • SkulkWorks (skulkworks.dev) — native Mac apps such as Riffle (diff & merge) and RasterFox (image optimization), no subscriptions
  • YetiDevWorks (yetidevworks.com) — open-source developer tools in Rust and PHP

For Gantry-specific maintenance questions, start with gantry.org and the GitHub repositories. For paid consulting or hosting on the Grav side, Trilby Media is the direct continuation of the original team.

The short version

You cannot buy a RocketTheme membership or renew one, and the support forum is gone. Use the free GitHub archives and gantry.org for the software, and route new work or paid help through Trilby Media and the other successor projects.
