Chastain Animal Clinic Hours: When You Can Bring Your Pet

The Saturday Exception Matters

The most common mistake is assuming the clinic is open every Saturday morning. It isn't. The published schedule notes that Saturday hours apply only on the first Saturday of each month, so a pet owner who shows up on the second or third Saturday will find the clinic closed. Before any weekend trip, confirm the date falls on the first Saturday — or simply call ahead.

How to Plan Around the Hours

• Weekday visits: The 8:00am–5:30pm window on weekdays is the most reliable time to reach the clinic. Booking ahead by phone or text is the clinic's stated approach for appointments.
• Weekend visits: Treat Saturday as a once-a-month option. If your pet's need falls on a different Saturday, plan for a weekday instead.
• Sundays: The clinic is closed, so non-urgent questions should wait for a weekday call.

The clinic describes itself as a full-service small animal hospital serving dogs and cats in Smyrna, Vinings, Mableton, and Marietta, and has been established since 1954. Its services include wellness plans, dental care, vaccinations, diet and nutrition guidance, and spay/neuter — all of which are scheduled during the hours above.

Bottom Line

Use weekdays 8:00am–5:30pm as your default window, reserve Saturday mornings for the first Saturday of the month only, and skip Sundays entirely. A quick call or text to (770) 435-7067 before you go remains the simplest way to confirm availability and book a time.
