Cooper Eye Care Office Hours in Manhattan and Brooklyn

Cooper Eye Care lists two New York locations with different weekday schedules. The Manhattan office (Upper East Side) is open Monday–Thursday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM and Friday 9:00 AM–2:00 PM. The Brooklyn office, listed as Cooper Panariello Eye Institute in Dyker Heights, is open Monday–Wednesday 9:00 AM–7:00 PM, Thursday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, and Friday 9:00 AM–2:00 PM. Both locations are closed Saturday and Sunday.

What the Differences Mean for Scheduling

The Brooklyn location opens two hours later than Manhattan on Monday through Wednesday, which makes it the better option if you need a late-afternoon or early-evening appointment early in the week. Thursday hours are identical at both offices (9:00 AM–5:00 PM), and Friday is a short day at both (9:00 AM–2:00 PM), so a Friday visit needs to be booked earlier in the day regardless of which office you choose.

Because neither location is open on weekends, anyone who can only attend appointments on Saturday or Sunday would need to arrange weekday time off or use the online scheduling option instead of walking in.

Before You Go

Cooper Eye Care describes itself as offering routine exams and checkups as well as specialized treatment, along with eyewear and contact lenses, at both the Manhattan and Brooklyn offices. The site directs patients to schedule an appointment rather than listing walk-in availability, so confirming a time slot in advance is the safer approach — especially for the shorter Friday hours and the Brooklyn evening window on Monday through Wednesday.

If you are unsure which office fits your needs, the Manhattan location may suit Upper East Side residents and those coming from Midtown, while the Brooklyn office serves the Dyker Heights area and offers the latest weekday availability of the two.
