Does NEOGEOFUN Require Any Downloads or Installations?

No. NEOGEOFUN is built to run retro SNK Neo Geo games directly in your web browser, and the site states that no download is required. You open the page, pick a game, and play it in the browser window.

The one real dependency is Flash technology. NEOGEOFUN describes itself as using Flash to run the games, so the practical requirement is a browser environment that can still load Flash content — not a game file or an app you install.

What you actually need

• A web browser — the games run in the browser, not in a separate program.
• Flash support — since the site is Flash-based, the browser (or a Flash-capable setup) has to be able to run Flash content.
• No game downloads — you don't download ROMs or install titles one by one.
• No extra application — there's no NEOGEOFUN client or plugin to install beyond whatever is needed for Flash itself.

How this plays out in practice

1. Go to neogeofun.com in your browser.
2. Choose a title from the game list — for example, Andro Dunos appears as an entry on the site.
3. The game loads and runs inside the browser using Flash.
4. Expected result: you're playing without any file download or installation step.

If a game doesn't start, the usual cause is the browser blocking or no longer supporting Flash, not a missing download.

Quick answer

So if your goal is to avoid downloads and installs, NEOGEOFUN fits that — as long as your browser can handle Flash.
