When to use each option

  • Call if you need a quick answer about a subscription, a publication, or a delivery question during business hours. The phone line is only staffed Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.
  • Visit in person for matters that are easier to handle face to face, such as picking up a publication or discussing an account. Plan your trip for a weekday, since the office is closed on weekends.
  • Subscribe online if you are only looking to start or manage a subscription — the site links to an online subscription page, so you may not need to call or visit at all.

Things to keep in mind

  • The office is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, so calls or visits outside Monday–Friday business hours will not be answered.
  • Star Publications is the publisher behind several local titles, including the Benton County Herald, Country Acres, Dairy Star, Sauk Centre Herald, Star Shopper, and The Star Post. If your question is about a specific paper, mentioning which one you mean can help route your request faster.
  • The website does not list a direct email address or a separate contact form, so phone or in-person contact are the two published routes.
