How Do You Join the Soldiers of God (SoG) Xbox Live Clan for Call of Duty 6 (cod6)?

The Soldiers of God (SoG) clan is a Christian Xbox Live clan whose official home is the forum at soldiersofgod.forumotion.com. To join, go to that forum, register an account (registration is required to see all topics), and then contact existing members through the forum or the clan's Facebook and YouTube pages to ask about joining. You do not need to be a Christian to join — the clan's stated position is that you only need to believe.

What SoG Is

SoG stands for Soldiers of God. According to the clan's own site, it is "a Christian clan, that has fun and believes in God." The forum banner states plainly: "WE ARE A CHRISTIAN CLAN ON XBOX LIVE."

A few things worth knowing before you sign up:

• Platform: Xbox Live (Xbox 360 Live clan, per the site's own keywords).
• Game focus: Call of Duty, with "cod6" — Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 — listed among the clan's keywords.
• Membership requirement: The clan describes itself as Christian, but explicitly says you do not need to be a Christian to join, "just believe."
• Official hub: The Forumotion board is described as "the official website for (SoG) Soldiers of God."

How to Join: Step by Step

1. Go to the official forum. Open soldiersofgod.forumotion.com in your browser. This is the clan's official site, not a third-party listing.
2. Register an account. The forum shows the message "You need to Register to see all the topics we have." Without registering, you will only see a limited view — the full member sections and recruitment threads stay hidden.
3. Read the visible sections first. Before or right after registering, look for any welcome, rules, or recruitment topics. These tell you what the clan expects and where applications are posted.
4. Introduce yourself or apply. Post in the appropriate thread (or start one if no application form exists) stating that you want to join, your Xbox Live gamertag, and which Call of Duty titles you play — mention cod6 / Modern Warfare 2 if that is your main game.
5. Reach out on social channels. The site links to the clan's Facebook and YouTube pages under a "Join us!" prompt. Messaging there is a useful backup if the forum is quiet or your registration is pending.
6. Wait for a response and follow instructions. A current member will typically reply with next steps — often an invite, a tryout, or simply adding your gamertag.

Expected result: Once registered and approved, you gain access to the full forum, can see all topics, and can coordinate games with the clan on Xbox Live.

Common Snags

• "I can't see the good threads." This is normal before registering — the forum deliberately hides topics from guests.
• Registration email doesn't arrive. Forumotion boards sometimes land in spam; check there before assuming the signup failed.
• The forum looks inactive. Clan forums can go quiet between game releases. The Facebook and YouTube links on the homepage are the fastest way to check whether members are still active.
• You're not religious. That is not a blocker here — the clan's own description says non-Christians are welcome as long as they believe.

Quick Reference

If your goal is simply to play cod6 with a like-minded Xbox Live group, registering on the forum and posting an introduction is the shortest path in.
