How much do tickets cost for shows at Comedy on State?

Updated

Ticket prices at Comedy on State vary by show, and the club lists them directly on its schedule. In the current listings, standard tickets for headlining shows run $35–$47, with different prices for early and late sets on the same night. Some performers also offer VIP tickets, and individual shows can sell out — for example, the Saturday 9:30 pm set for Lucas Zelnick is marked "Soldout" while other times that weekend remain available at $35–$47.

What the listed prices show

The schedule on madisoncomedy.com pairs each performance with its price and start time, so you can compare options before buying:

Other upcoming acts — Vidura Bandara Rajapaksa, Emil Wakim, Mark Normand, Drag Bingo with Bianca Lynn Breeze & Renae Sance, Pete Lee, and Tommy Brennan — are listed with "BUY TIX" links rather than displayed prices. For those, the price appears when you follow the ticket link for the specific date and time.

Why prices differ

  • Show and performer. Headliners with national tours or TV credits (Netflix, SNL, The Tonight Show) generally sit in the $35–$47 range shown for Lucas Zelnick, but the club does not publish a single flat rate across all acts.
  • Time slot. The same performer can charge the same price for a 7:00 pm and 9:30 pm set, as the Lucas Zelnick listings show. Popular late shows are the ones most likely to sell out first.
  • Ticket tier. Some shows offer VIP tickets in addition to standard admission — Vidura Bandara Rajapaksa and Mark Normand are both flagged "VIP Tickets Available!" VIP pricing is not shown on the schedule page, so check the ticket link for the difference.

How to check the price for a specific show

  1. Go to the schedule on madisoncomedy.com and find the act and date you want.
  2. Read the price next to the time if one is listed. If you see only "BUY TIX," the price is not shown on the schedule.
  3. Click "BUY TIX" for that date and time to reach the ticketing page, where the price and any VIP option appear.
  4. Confirm the date and time before paying — the same act often has multiple sets that weekend, and one may already be sold out.

Practical notes

  • Sold-out sets are labeled. If a time shows "Soldout" instead of a price, that performance is no longer available; pick another time or date for the same act.
  • Prices are per ticket, before fees. The listed $35–$47 range is the face price shown on the schedule; the ticketing page is where you see the final total.
  • Plan around the schedule, not a fixed budget. Because pricing is set per show, the reliable way to know what you'll pay is to open the ticket link for the exact performance you want.
  • Before you go, the club's Plan Your Visit section covers reservations and seating, parking and directions, and nearby hotels and restaurants — useful if you're combining a show with a birthday or bachelorette party.
