How much does The Batch subscription cost?
Updated
The Batch has not published its subscription price yet. According to the site's FAQ, cost "will be revealed soon," and people who claim a spot on the waitlist "get an idea when you claim your spot." So the only way to see any pricing signal right now is to join the waitlist — and joining commits you to nothing.
What is actually known about pricing
| Question | What batchbox.com.au says |
|---|---|
| Is there a published price? | No. "All will be revealed soon." |
| When do you learn more? | When you claim a waitlist spot — you "get an idea" of cost at that point. |
| Is there a value promise? | Yes: "every delivery far exceeds the price of membership," and the box is described as "$400+ of genuinely good stuff." |
| Does joining the waitlist cost anything? | The site states joining "commits you to nothing; it just secures your place." |
| Is there a free trial or discount? | Not mentioned anywhere on the page. |
The $400+ figure is the stated value of the contents, not the membership price. The site frames the box as "engineered for disproportionate curated discovery" — meaning the pitch is that what arrives is worth more than what you pay, not that the box is cheap.
Why the price isn't listed yet
The Batch is still pre-launch. The page shows "Launching soon," with the waitlist status marked ACTIVE. Membership is capped at 500 across Australia and New Zealand, and the model is "one out, one in" once full. With a fixed member count and a launch date still to be announced, pricing appears to be part of the launch reveal rather than something published in advance.
What you can do now
- Go to batchbox.com.au and use the "Get on the list" / waitlist entry point.
- Pick a preference category when you join — Beauty, Home, Accessories, Wellness, or Mix of all. You can change it later.
- Watch for the launch announcement. Waitlisters "hear the date before anyone else," and the site says they get an idea of cost when they claim a spot.
What to weigh before joining
- No price, no commitment. You can hold a place without deciding to buy. That's the lowest-risk way to get the pricing information.
- Value claim, not a price claim. "Far exceeds the price of membership" is the brand's own promise. Treat it as a positioning statement until an actual figure appears.
- Scarcity is real to the model. The 500 cap is described as structural, not marketing — so if you want Batch no. 001, the waitlist is the stated route in.
If cost is your deciding factor, the waitlist is currently the only place the site says you'll get a sense of it.
