How PTA/PTSA Officers Connect with PTACHC Resources and Updates

The PTA Council of Howard County (PTACHC) serves Howard County's 74 PTA/PTSA units and their members. If you are a local PTA or PTSA officer, there are two main channels to stay connected: a private Facebook group for local officers, and the annual officer contact form that PTACHC uses to send notices about meetings, events, and training opportunities. You should also submit your officer list to Free State PTA through Givebacks.

Submit the 2026-2027 Officer Contact Form

PTACHC asks every local PT(S)A to complete the officer contact form for the 2026-2027 school year. Complete the form even if your officers have not changed from 2025-2026.

  • Why it matters: PTACHC uses the information from this form to send notices about meetings, events, training opportunities, and other updates.
  • When to submit: As soon as possible.

Join the Private Facebook Group for Local Officers

PTACHC maintains a private Facebook page intended for local PTA officers only. This is a separate channel from the contact form and is aimed at officer-to-officer connection.

Submit Your Officer List to Free State PTA via Givebacks

In addition to the PTACHC contact form, PTACHC directs units to submit their PTA/PTSA officer list to Free State PTA through Givebacks.

Attend PTACHC General Meetings

PTACHC General Meetings are held every first Tuesday of the month at the Homewood Center. Meeting materials from previous General Meetings are available through the PTACHC site.

Watch the Dues Deadline

PTA Council dues for the 2026-27 school year are due by November 1, 2026. Dues are $200.00, payable to PTA Council of Howard County or PTACHC. Two signatures are required on all checks. PTACHC provides a Dues & Scholarship Invoice 2026-27 to download and mail with your dues, and asks for an optional scholarship donation of any amount you are able to make.
