How to Book an Event or Party at Bowlero
Updated
You can book a Bowlero party or event online by choosing an event type, searching for a center by city, state, or ZIP code, and selecting a date up to 6 months in advance. If you'd rather have help, you can contact an event planner instead of booking directly. The online path works best when you already know your location, guest count, and date; the planner path is better for large or custom events.
Step 1: Pick the type of event
Bowlero lists four event categories on its site. Match your occasion to one before you start the booking flow, since the type shapes what you'll be asked next.
| Event type | Best for |
|---|---|
| Kids Parties | Birthday bashes for kids and their friends |
| Teen Parties | Teen birthdays with blacklight lanes and shareable treats |
| Corporate Events | Team building, office parties, and company gatherings |
| Adult Social Events | Birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, reunions, and other ideas |
If your event doesn't fit neatly into one of these, use Contact an Event Planner rather than forcing it into a category.
Step 2: Search for a center
In the "Book an Event" section, enter a city, state, or ZIP code in the location search. The page shows results as you type (a "0 results available" message appears until a match is found), so you can confirm the center exists before going further.
Step 3: Choose your date
Event bookings can be made up to 6 months in advance. Pick your day from the date selector. Note that this is different from lane reservations, which the site says can be made up to 8 days in advance — don't confuse the two if you're planning a party versus a casual bowling outing.
Step 4: Complete the booking or ask for help
Follow the flow to finish your event booking. If you get stuck on guest counts, custom food and drink needs, or anything outside the standard options, use Contact an Event Planner — the site positions planners as the route for bringing a specific event idea to life.
Current promotions worth knowing
Bowlero runs time-limited offers that can affect when you book:
- Holiday party gift card: Book a holiday party by November 1 with code HOLIDAYGIFT to receive an Amazon gift card — $75 for 10–25 guests or $125 for 26+ guests. The code is valid 10/5/26–11/1/26 for events held 11/2/26–1/31/27, one gift card per event, with terms and conditions applying.
- Birthday star bowls free: Use code FALLBDAY when booking a kids or teen party; the birthday star bowls free. Valid through 11/30 for events held by 11/30, terms and conditions apply.
Promo codes are entered during booking, so have the code ready before you start.
Common snags
- No search results: Double-check the spelling of the city or try a nearby ZIP code; the search returns nothing until it matches a center.
- Date too far out: If your date is more than 6 months away, the selector won't offer it — wait until it falls inside the window or contact a planner.
- Mixing up lane vs. event booking: Lane reservations are capped at 8 days out and are a separate flow from party and event bookings.
- Guest count questions: The site notes a "6 per lane" figure in its lane reservation area; for event guest counts and gift-card tiers, confirm details with a planner if your numbers are unusual.
