How to Browse and Find Custom Spin Rhythm XD Charts on SpinShare

Updated

Open spinsha.re and use the frontpage tabs to switch between New, Updated, Hot This Week and Hot This Month, or scan the Featured section for editor-picked charts. Each chart entry shows the song title, artist and difficulty tiers (E, N, H, EX, XD), so you can match a chart to your skill level before opening it. Community playlists and event links on the frontpage give you curated collections when you want someone else to do the sorting.

Start With the Frontpage Tabs

The frontpage is organized around four browsing modes, each answering a different question:

Tab What it shows When to use it
New Recently added charts You want to see what just landed
Updated Charts with recent revisions You're checking whether a chart you follow has been fixed or improved
Hot This Week Charts getting attention right now You want something current and community-vetted
Hot This Month Charts popular over a longer window You want proven picks rather than a short-lived spike

The tabs sit at the top of the frontpage. Switching tabs changes the list below without leaving the page, so you can compare recency against popularity quickly.

Read the Featured Section

Featured is a hand-selected row of charts, separate from the algorithmic tabs. The frontpage evidence shows entries in this format:

  • Majesty of Anubis — ryhki — E 17, EX 24, XD 57
  • YARARARA — AnythingBecomeMoe — E 6, N 12, H 16, EX 25, XD 38
  • MOMENT — ALEPH — E 7, N 13, H 20, EX 31, XD 54
  • SQUARE UP — jamie paige x peak divide — E, N, H 11, EX 26, XD 49
  • Crimson Dance — millexica — E 4, N 9, H 15, EX 25, XD 63
  • Chronomia — Lime — E, N 17, H 25, EX 35, XD 62
  • Trial of Thunder — FamilyJules — E 7, N 13, H 20, EX 33, XD 70
  • Dead Inside Shuffle — Louis Cole — E 3, N 10, H 19, EX 26, XD 42
  • Nine Sols Collage — E, N, H 16, EX 23, XD 40
  • Underdog — Eve — E 3, N 12, H 19, EX 28, XD 51

Use Featured when you want a small, curated set rather than a long list. It is the fastest way to find a chart worth playing without scanning dozens of entries.

Use Difficulty Tiers to Filter by Skill

Every chart entry lists difficulty tiers, and the numbers attached to them indicate how demanding each tier is. The tiers run from easiest to hardest: E, N, H, EX, XD. A chart may skip tiers — for example, Majesty of Anubis lists E, EX and XD but no N or H.

Practical reading of the numbers:

  • Low E values (3–7) suit newcomers. Dead Inside Shuffle at E 3 and Underdog at E 3 are entry points.
  • Mid H and EX values (15–35) are the working range for players comfortable with the game.
  • High XD values (50–70) are the top end. Trial of Thunder at XD 70 and Crimson Dance at XD 63 sit near the ceiling of the featured set.

Compare the same tier across charts rather than across tiers. An EX 24 and an EX 35 are meaningfully different commitments even though both are EX.

Follow Playlists and Event Links

The frontpage also surfaces curated collections and community events. The evidence shows an AUTUMN 2026 tournament sign-up and a matching playlist, each with a "CHECK IT OUT" link. These are useful when you want a themed or time-limited set of charts — a tournament playlist, for instance, groups charts chosen for a specific event rather than by raw popularity.

If you are browsing for a session rather than a single song, start with a playlist link and work through it in order.

Check the Desktop Client

The frontpage announces "Client Next," described as the next generation of the desktop client after three years of development, with its own "CHECK IT OUT" link. If you plan to download and play charts rather than just browse them, that link is the entry point to the client information.

A Workable Browsing Routine

  1. Open spinsha.re and check Featured for a quick curated pick.
  2. If nothing fits, switch to Hot This Week for community-vetted charts.
  3. Match the chart's difficulty tiers against your comfort level using the numbers, not just the tier letters.
  4. For a longer session, open a playlist or event link and work through it.
  5. Return to Updated periodically to see whether charts you play have been revised.

The main pitfall is treating tier letters as absolute: two charts both labeled EX can differ by ten or more points, so read the number before committing to a hard chart.
