How to Check the Horse Racing Schedule and Live Stream at The Track on 2

The Track on 2 in Lacombe, Alberta hosts Standardbred horse racing, and you can follow both the schedule and the races from anywhere. The 2026 race season has wrapped up, and the 2027 race calendar is listed as "coming soon" on the website. In the meantime, the site's Event Calendar shows monthly happenings including live racing, entertainment, and casino specials, and a live stream page lets you watch races remotely. Casino and simulcast wagering stay open seven days a week year-round.

Checking the Race Schedule

The Track on 2 runs Standardbred racing rather than Thoroughbred, so the calendar reflects that breed's race dates and post times.

• Event Calendar — The site's Event Calendar is the main schedule hub. It lists what's on at The Track each month, from live racing to entertainment and casino specials.
• 2027 season — The 2026 season is finished, and the site says to "stay tuned" for the 2027 race calendar. If you're planning a trip around live racing, check back for that update before booking.
• Year-round activity — Racing is seasonal, but the casino and simulcast room operate seven days a week, so there's something to do outside the race season.

Watching the Live Stream

If you can't make it to Lacombe, the website provides a live stream link so you can watch the races remotely. Look for the "View Our Live Stream" option on the racing section of the site. This is the same feed tied to the on-track action, so it's the direct way to follow a race day without travelling.

What Else Happens at The Track on 2

The venue is more than a racetrack. The grounds include a large grandstand, a riding arena, and stables, plus:

• The Funky Monkey Kitchen + Bar — Open year round, with a view over the track and countryside. Menus and reservations are handled through the site.
• Simulcast room — Streams international races for wagering.
• Event centre — Hosts weddings, milestone celebrations, and corporate events, and has welcomed psychics, comedians, and musicians.
• Barn tours — During race season, you can get one-on-one with the horses and ponies.
