How to Contact CCUMC or Its Pastors

Chinese Community United Methodist Church (CCUMC) lists one main phone number and several email contacts on its website. Use the phone number for general or time-sensitive questions, and email the specific pastor when your question is about a program that pastor oversees.

Contact Details Listed on the Website

Note that the general church email address shown on the site is the same address listed for Rev. Meina Ko, so a message sent there may reach the senior pastor's inbox rather than a separate office account.

Which Contact to Use

• Worship services and times: The site states that CCUMC worships in person and also offers Zoom worship and livestreaming. Chinese-language Sunday worship is at 9:30 AM, and English Zoom worship is at 11:00 AM on Sundays. Call (510) 452-1020 if you need to confirm current arrangements, since schedules can change.
• Homework Club / after-school program: Email Pastor Ivana Heang at [email protected].
• Pastoral or general church matters: Email [email protected], associated with Rev. Meina Ko.
• Upcoming events: The website has an "Upcoming Events" section, so check there before calling about a specific event.

What to Include in Your Message

To get a faster reply, state your question in the first line and include:

1. Your name and a phone number or email where you can be reached.
2. The specific service, program, or event you are asking about.
3. Whether you need information in Chinese or English, since the site and congregation operate in both.

Things to Keep in Mind

• The website does not list office hours, so you cannot assume when someone will answer the phone or reply to email.
• The site does not state whether Zoom worship requires a registration link or password; ask when you contact the church.
• If you are unsure which pastor handles your question, start with the general email and ask to be directed.
