How to Contact Dara Barr L.Ac. or Order Supplements Online

Updated

Dara Barr L.Ac. is a New York City acupuncture practice focused on women's health and fertility with Chinese medicine, and the site provides two direct paths for getting in touch or buying products: a Contact Us section for reaching the practice, and an Order Supplements Online option for purchasing nutritional supplements. Both are accessible from the site's main navigation on darabarr.com.

Contacting the Practice

The website lists Contact Us as one of its primary navigation headings, alongside About Us, Our Services, and Order Supplements Online. That section is the intended route for reaching Dara Barr L.Ac. directly.

The practice is based in New York City — the site identifies Dara as "Your NYC Acupuncturist" and describes the care as women's health and fertility treatment with Chinese medicine. If you're looking for current phone numbers, email addresses, or office location details, check the Contact Us page itself, since contact specifics can change and the site's navigation is the authoritative source.

Ordering Supplements Online

The site's navigation includes an Order Supplements Online link, and the nutritional therapy section points to a "Purchase Here" option. This is the path for buying supplements through the practice rather than in person.

A few things worth knowing before you order:

  • Supplements support a broader plan. The practice describes nutritional therapy as a way to create "a manageable approach to diet, nutrition, and nutritional supplements," with food as the primary foundation and supplementation used to optimize results. The supplements aren't presented as a standalone treatment.
  • Herbal formulas are customized. The herbal medicine service uses custom formulas based on the traditional Chinese pharmacopeia, coordinated with western approaches under a "safety first" mindset. If you're already working with Dara, the online order option is the practical way to keep those formulas on hand.
  • Pricing and payment details aren't listed on the homepage. The site shows a "purchase" signal but no published prices or payment platforms in the available page content, so check the order page for current costs and checkout options.

What the Practice Offers

Understanding the services helps you decide whether to reach out in the first place. The site describes three main offerings:

Service What it involves
Acupuncture Fine needles used to adjust the body's "energetic highway system," combining studied western reproductive protocols with classic point prescriptions
Herbal Medicine Customized formulas from the traditional Chinese pharmacopeia, coordinated with western care
Nutritional Therapy Diet, nutrition, and supplement guidance, with an online purchase option

Cupping is also mentioned as a therapeutic offering that the site notes is often underutilized in US clinics.

Background on the Practitioner

Dara Barr is a licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac.) with over 13 years in practice, according to the site. The practice describes its approach as combining eastern medicine methods with western care, and states that it will recommend an MD when needed. The stated goal is "results oriented care with an integrated approach."

Practical Next Steps
