How to Contact or Visit Waldorf SDA Church

Updated

Waldorf Seventh-day Adventist Church meets at 11245 Berry Rd., Waldorf, MD 20603. For general questions, call 301-645-8835 or email [email protected]; the church office is remote, with hours Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM. Use the mailing address below only for correspondence and tithes/offerings, not as the meeting location.

Visit on a Saturday (Sabbath)

Services are held on Saturdays at the Berry Rd. location:

Time Activity
9:30 AM–10:00 AM Morning Prayer Time (30-minute prayer session)
10:00 AM–11:30 AM Sabbath School (all children's, youth, and young adult divisions meet at 10 AM in the Fellowship Hall for a general assembly before dividing into classes)
11:30 AM–1:15 PM Worship Service in the Sanctuary

The church describes itself as a Christian community and invites visitors to join; its About Us page covers beliefs in more detail.

Other ways to connect during the week

  • Tuesday, 8:00 PM — Zoom Prayer Line.
  • Wednesday, 7:00 PM — Mid-Week Fellowship & Prayer Meeting, in the Sanctuary or on Zoom.
  • Calendar and groups — ministry events are posted on the church calendar, and Church Community Builder (CCB) at waldorfsda.ccbchurch.com handles communications, forms, registration, and groups; sign-up is available from the website.

Giving, if you need a receipt

Tithes and offerings can be sent through AdventistGiving, by mail to the Crain Hwy. address, via Zelle to 301-233-0804, or via Cash App to $Waldorfsda. If you give through Zelle or Cash App, the church asks you to email [email protected] or text (571) 236-3675 with your Zelle/Cash App name; include your name and mailing address if you want an end-of-year donation receipt.

Common points to check before you go

  • Don't mix up the two addresses. Berry Rd. is where services happen; Crain Hwy. is a mailing address only.
  • Saturday timing is sequential, not simultaneous. Prayer time comes first, then Sabbath School, then the worship service — arriving at 10 AM puts you at the start of Sabbath School.
  • Office hours are remote. The secretary's hours are listed as a remote office, so email or phone ahead rather than expecting an in-person office visit.
