How to Find a Provider or Location on the JRMC Website

Updated

JRMC (jrmc.org) gives you three main ways to find care: the Find a Provider search, the Services list, and the Locations section. Use Find a Provider when you already know the specialty or doctor's name; use Services when you know the problem but not which specialist handles it; use Locations when you want the nearest clinic or campus. All three are reachable from the top navigation on the homepage.

Find a Provider

The homepage includes a "Find Your Provider" search for a specialist. This is the fastest route when you know what you need.

  • Search by name if you already have a doctor in mind.
  • Search by specialty if you know the type of care — for example, cardiology, orthopaedics, or pediatrics.
  • Expected result: a provider listing you can use to confirm the specialty and location before booking.

If you are not sure which specialty fits your situation, do not guess in the search box — start from the Services list instead (below) and work back to a provider.

Browse Services to Identify the Right Specialty

The "Featured Services" section and the full Services menu list every specialty and program at Jefferson Regional. This is the right starting point when you know your symptom or condition but not the department name.

The list includes, among others:

Category Examples from the JRMC services list
Primary and family care Family Health, Pediatrics, Urgent Care Center
Heart and vascular Heart & Vascular Care (Cardiology), Every Beat Counts (Heart Screening)
Cancer Cancer Care, Jones-Dunklin Cancer Center
Orthopaedic and rehab Orthopaedics, Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation
Other specialties Ear, Nose, & Throat Care, Digestive Care (G.I. Services), Kidney Care (Nephrology), Women's Health, Wound Care

Once you identify the service, use Find a Provider to locate a specialist in that area, or go straight to the matching location.

Use the Locations Section

The Locations section lists every JRMC site, so you can pick the one closest to you rather than defaulting to the main campus.

  • Jefferson Regional Main Campus — in the heart of Pine Bluff, and the site of the emergency and trauma services.
  • Specialty and associate clinics — including Breast Center, Cardiology Associates, Orthopaedic Associates, Nephrology Associates, OB/GYN Associates, and Surgical Associates.
  • Outlying clinics — Crossett Clinic, Monticello Medical Clinic, Monticello Walk-In Clinic, and others.
  • Therapy and wellness sites — Outpatient Therapy in Pine Bluff and White Hall, plus Wellness Centers in both cities.

If you are traveling from outside Pine Bluff, check the Locations list first — a clinic in Crossett or Monticello may be closer than the main campus for routine visits.

After You Choose: Booking and Account Tools

  • Patient Portal — log in to make an appointment, pay a bill, and use other tools.
  • Bill Pay — a separate link in the top navigation for paying your bill.
  • Billing & Insurance — under Patients & Visitors, for questions about coverage and financial assistance.
  • Referring Providers — a dedicated entry point if you are a clinician sending a patient to JRMC.

Common Sticking Points

  • Searching a symptom instead of a specialty. The provider search works on names and specialties, not conditions. Translate your problem into a specialty using the Services list first.
  • Assuming the main campus is the only option. JRMC operates clinics across Southeast Arkansas; the closest site may not be in Pine Bluff.
  • Looking for appointments outside the portal. Appointment booking runs through the Patient Portal, so create or log into an account rather than expecting a direct booking form on each provider page.
