How to Find and Join Free VIP Servers on Roblox
Updated
You can join a free VIP server by finding one listed in a public index like RBXServers (rbxservers.xyz), opening the game it belongs to, and joining from there. The index currently shows 9,738 VIP servers across 1,089 games, and the servers are community-submitted and machine-checked. This works when the server owner has left their VIP server open to the public — a private VIP server that isn't shared won't appear in any index and can't be joined this way.
What a VIP server is, and why some are free to join
A VIP server (also called a private server) is a separate instance of a Roblox game that one player pays for and controls. The owner decides who gets in. Many owners leave their server open so anyone with the link can join, which is what makes a "free VIP server" possible — you're not paying for it, the owner already did.
Two things follow from that:
- A listed server is only joinable while the owner keeps it public and paid for. If they close it or stop paying, the link stops working.
- "Free" describes your cost, not the server's status. You're joining someone else's paid instance.
Find a server on RBXServers
RBXServers is a live index, so the numbers change as servers are added and expire. The homepage shows a running count and a "Most servers right now" list.
Browse by popularity
If you just want something active, scan the top games. At the time of the page data, the busiest entries were:
| Game | Servers listed |
|---|---|
| Bee Swarm Simulator | 1,632 |
| Blox Fruits | 448 |
| Fisch 🐟 [RACING] | 373 |
| Brookhaven 🏡RP | 182 |
| Dress To Impress ⭐ | 179 |
| [King Crimson] Sakura Stand | 168 |
| Rise of Nations | 161 |
| [🥚] Steal a Brainrot | 156 |
More servers in a game means a better chance one is open when you look.
Search for a specific game
If you already know what you want to play, use the search instead of scrolling:
- Enter the game name in the search field.
- Open the game's page in the index.
- Pick a server from the list shown for that game.
The index covers 1,089 games, so a niche game may have few or no listings.
Join a listed VIP server
- Open the game's page on RBXServers and choose a server.
- Follow the join link to the game on Roblox.
- Roblox opens the game page; join the VIP server from there.
Expected result: you load into the owner's private instance rather than a public server. If the game page loads but the VIP option is missing, the server was likely closed between indexing and your click — pick another from the list.
Add your own VIP server
If you own a VIP server and want others to find it, the site accepts submissions:
- Go to the "Add it to RBXServers" link on the homepage.
- Submit your server's details.
- It gets machine-checked before appearing in the index.
This is how the index grows — it's community-submitted, not scraped from Roblox directly.
Troubleshooting
The server is full. VIP servers have player caps set by the owner. Wait, or choose a different server for the same game.
The link goes nowhere or the VIP option is gone. The owner closed the server or stopped paying. This is the most common failure and isn't fixable from your side.
The server isn't in the index. Either no one submitted it, or it was removed after a failed check. You can only join servers that are listed and still public.
You can't find your game at all. With 1,089 games indexed, smaller titles may simply have no public VIP servers submitted yet.
What to check before you rely on a listing
- Confirm the game name matches exactly — similar titles exist and a wrong click wastes time.
- Treat the server count as a snapshot, not a guarantee; the index updates continuously.
- Remember that joining depends on the owner's settings, so a working link today can stop working tomorrow.
