How to Find the Latest Notices on the RUET Official Website
Updated
To check the latest official notices from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), start at ruet.ac.bd and look for the Notice List link in the site's navigation. That page is the central index for current and archived notices; individual notices open as their own pages and may link to downloadable files. The steps below assume only that you can reach the homepage — no login is required to browse the public menu.
Step 1: Open the RUET homepage
Go to https://ruet.ac.bd. The homepage is the starting point for all public sections, including notices. You do not need an account to view the navigation or the notice index.
Step 2: Locate the Notice List entry
The site's navigation includes a Notice List item alongside other public links such as Web Mail, Alumni Login, About, Administration, Academics, Admission, and Research. The same navigation block also exposes notice-adjacent items:
- NOC Release / Leave Order
- Tender
- Career
- Important Link
If you cannot spot Notice List immediately, scan the full menu rather than relying on a single column — the navigation is long and groups academic, administrative, and service links together.
Step 3: Browse the Notice List
Open Notice List to see the index of published notices. This is where current notices appear and where older ones remain available for reference. Use it to:
- Scan the most recent entries first.
- Identify the notice type before opening it (academic, administrative, tender, NOC/leave order, career-related).
- Open an individual notice to read its full text and any attachments.
Step 4: Check the right section for the notice type
Not every official announcement lives under the main Notice List. The site separates some categories:
| What you need | Where to look |
|---|---|
| General and academic notices | Notice List |
| NOC release and leave orders | NOC Release / Leave Order |
| Procurement and contract notices | Tender |
| Job openings at RUET | Career |
| Admission-related announcements | Admission (including Admission Schedule) |
| Research and publication updates | Research (including JEAS and publications) |
If a notice you expected is missing from the Notice List, check the matching category above before concluding it has not been published.
Step 5: Open the notice and its attachments
Select a notice title to open its detail page. Read the full text there, and follow any linked PDF or download if the notice references a form, schedule, or circular. Save or print the file if you need it for an application or record.
Step 6: Use search when the menu is hard to find
The site provides Quick Search and a site search facility. If the navigation is crowded or you are on a small screen:
- Use Quick Search with a specific term — for example a department name, "tender," or "leave order."
- Or use your browser's find function (Ctrl+F / Cmd+F) on the homepage to locate the word "Notice."
- As a fallback, search the web for
site:ruet.ac.bd noticeto surface indexed notice pages directly.
Common sticking points
- Menu overload: The navigation lists many offices, faculties, and departments. The notice links sit in the same block as administrative links, so read the whole menu rather than the first few items.
- Category confusion: Tender and NOC/leave notices are published under their own links, not always in the general Notice List.
- Attachments: Some notices are short summaries that point to a PDF. Always open the linked file before acting on the notice.
- Stale bookmarks: If a saved notice link stops working, return to Notice List and locate the item again rather than relying on the old URL.
For most readers, the reliable path is: homepage → Notice List → open the relevant notice → check attachments. Use the category links (Tender, NOC Release / Leave Order, Career, Admission) when the Notice List does not cover what you need.
