How to Find Trending and Rising Roblox Games on Rotrends
Updated
Rotrends is a Roblox analytics site that surfaces what's hot right now. To find trending and rising games, open the homepage and use its "Trending Today" sections: Top Moving Games, New and Rising, New and Stable, and Moving in Top 100. Each list shows a game's current player count (CCU) and its overall rank, so you can tell a big game from a fast climber. If you already know what you're looking for, use the search box or browse by category instead.
What the homepage shows
The page opens with a site-wide snapshot — at the time of the captured data, 17,228,278 players (CCU) and a 47,296,412 peak CCU — followed by the "What's trending on Roblox?" heading and the trending lists. Above the lists you'll also find search and category entry points such as Top Games, Trending Games, Top Trending, Idle, Roleplay & Avatar Sim, Up-and-Coming, Action, Dress Up, Deathmatch, and Shooter.
Reading the four trending lists
Each list answers a different question, so pick the one that matches your goal.
| List | What it surfaces | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Top Moving Games | Games with the biggest recent movement in players | Spotting sudden spikes and breakout hits |
| New and Rising | Recently launched games gaining players quickly | Finding early-stage games before they peak |
| New and Stable | New games holding a steady player base | Judging whether a launch has staying power |
| Moving in Top 100 | Games climbing within the top 100 | Tracking shifts among already-popular titles |
Top Moving Games
This is the fastest way to see what's surging today. Entries show the game name, creator, current CCU, overall rank, and a movement indicator. In the captured data, examples include PIGU (11,241 CCU, rank #1931, +1) and ETERNAL HATCHERS [OP!!] (9,756 CCU, rank #4503). A high CCU with a low rank number means a large, established game; a lower CCU with a high rank number means a smaller game that's moving up.
New and Rising
Use this when you want games that are new and gaining fast. The captured list includes ทายเพลงไทย 0.1 วิ! (41,733 CCU, rank #8357) and HUSS 🏃 (34,989 CCU, rank #7192). These are strong signals of a game catching on quickly, but the high rank numbers show they haven't yet broken into the top tier.
New and Stable
This list filters for new games that are holding a consistent audience rather than spiking. The captured entries have very small CCU figures — for example Sell Fries! [Anomaly] (1 CCU, rank #28) and Chop A Forest (7 CCU, rank #46). Read these as early-stage titles with low but steady activity, useful if you want to watch a game develop rather than chase a spike.
Moving in Top 100
If you care about established games, this list shows which top-100 titles are gaining ground. Captured examples include DIVINE HATCHERS 0.0001% [NEW!] (163 CCU, rank #97) and Venom Evolution (103 CCU, rank #65). The rank number tells you how close the game is to the top of the charts.
Using search and categories
If you have a specific game or genre in mind, skip the trending lists:
- Type the game name into the search box to jump straight to its page.
- Or pick a category (for example Shooter, Dress Up, or Roleplay & Avatar Sim) to browse games within that genre.
- Use the "Explore List" links under each trending section to open the full list rather than the five-item preview.
Expected result: you land on either a specific game's analytics page or a filtered list of games in your chosen category.
Checking a game's broader standing
The homepage also includes leaderboards that put trending games in context:
- Top by Earning — ranks games by revenue (captured examples: Steal An Egg at #1, Murder Mystery 2 at #2).
- Top by Players — ranks by player count (captured examples: Steal An Egg at #1, Brookhaven 🏡RP at #4).
- Top by Session Time — ranks by how long players stay (captured examples: Bubble Gum Havoc at #8661, Anime Tower Defense: Guardians of Lumina at #2062).
Cross-checking a trending game against these boards tells you whether its rise comes with real engagement or is just a short burst of players.
Common snags
- Confusing CCU with rank. A game can have a high CCU and still sit at a high rank number if the platform is large overall. Always read both figures together.
- Treating "New and Stable" as a popularity list. Its entries can have very low CCU; the point is steadiness, not size.
- Expecting real-time precision. The numbers reflect the data captured on the page, so treat them as a snapshot rather than a live feed.
- Missing the full list. The homepage shows only five games per section; use "Explore List" to see more.
