How to Get Started on Biker Match and Find Local Bikers or Events

To get started on Biker Match (bikermatch.co.uk), register or sign in from the homepage, then use Search UK Bikers or the Browse / New Members / Online Now lists to find riders near you, and open the Events section for upcoming motorcycle meets. One practical caveat: the site is partway through a move to a new format, so some pages may redirect you to the old version — choose "go now to OLD site" if a page you need isn't converted yet.

First steps: register or sign in

The homepage carries Sign In and Register links alongside Help! and FAQ. Registration is the entry point for contacting other members; browsing profile lists and event listings is part of the public-facing site.

If something doesn't work as expected, the FAQ and Help pages are the first place to check, and there is a View Staff / EMail Us contact route under "Get In Touch."

Finding local bikers

Biker Match describes itself as UK-only, with a stated 105,000 UK motorcyclists (the site title cites 95,179 members). Location is shown on each profile card, so you can judge distance at a glance.

Ways to find people:

• Search UK Bikers — the main search box on the homepage, aimed at UK-only results.
• Browse and Search in the main menu for filtered profile lists.
• New Members — recently joined riders.
• Online Now — members currently logged in.
• Popular Girls / Popular Guys — the most-viewed profiles.

Homepage profile cards show a username, town and age — for example "Marsh maiden, Hythe, 64" or "Dibbles67, Aberdeen, 59" — which gives you a quick sense of who is in your area before you open a full profile.

Finding events and ride-outs

The Events section lists motorcycle events by date, with Search Events, October Events (current-month view), Today's Birthdays, and Add Your Event for submitting your own. The homepage previews upcoming dates, such as:

Later listings run into 2027 (Brecon Classic Motorcycle Show, Middleton in Teesdale, Finks camp). Use View All Events for the full calendar.

Beyond dating: forums and chat

Biker Match is explicitly not dating-only — the site says biker couples are welcome and that it works for finding motorcycling buddies. Supporting features include:

• Forums with All Topics, Search and Create Topic
• Chat and chatroom
• Motorcycling news and rally/ride-out listings

Watch out for the site migration

A redirect notice explains the site is still being converted to the new format, with buttons for "Ok - go now to OLD site" and "No thanks - stay on NEW site." If a feature seems missing or a link bounces, switch to the old site rather than assuming the feature doesn't exist. There is also an App Mode (beta) toggle in the menu if you prefer a phone-style layout.

A sensible first session

1. Register or sign in.
2. Run a Search UK Bikers query for your area, then skim Online Now and New Members.
3. Open the Events calendar and note one or two dates near you.
4. Introduce yourself in the Forums or chatroom — the site positions this as the low-pressure way in, whether you're looking to date or just ride.
