How to Get Started with WooRank
Updated
Start on the WooRank homepage and run a website Review to get an instant analysis; if you want ongoing access to the full toolset, use the Free Trial link to register and then open the app. The homepage presents two paths — a quick Review for a one-off look at a site, and registration for the product itself — plus a Pricing page if you need to compare plans before committing.
Choose your entry point
WooRank's homepage is organized around a few clear actions. Pick the one that matches what you need right now.
| Goal | Where to go | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Get a quick analysis of one site | "Run your Review" prompt on the homepage | Instant website analysis with suggested improvements |
| Use the full product | "Free Trial" link → registration → "Go to app" | Account-based access to the toolset |
| Compare plans first | "Pricing" link in the navigation | Plan information before you register |
| Check accessibility compliance | "Check my accessibility" (accessScan) | Reports whether a site meets ADA/WCAG-related criteria |
| Existing account | "Login" | Returns you to your account |
The homepage repeats the Review prompt in more than one section, so you don't need to hunt for it — any "Start Optimizing Your Website" block leads to the same submission form.
Run an instant website Review
This is the lowest-commitment way to see what WooRank does.
- Enter a website address in the Review form on the homepage.
- Submit the form. The page confirms receipt ("Your submission has been received") and returns an instant analysis.
- Read the findings. The Review is positioned as a diagnostic: it tells you what to improve on the site you submitted.
Expect a confirmation message after submitting; if you see the error notice instead ("Oops! Something went wrong"), the form didn't go through and you should resubmit. The Review is a snapshot of one site — it is not the same as a logged-in workspace where you track multiple properties over time.
Register for the Free Trial and open the app
If the Review convinces you to go further, the Free Trial is the next step.
- Select "Free Trial" in the site navigation. This leads to a registration path for the Pro plan.
- Complete registration with your account details.
- Choose "Go to app" to enter the product once your account is active.
The homepage lists "Login" and "Go to app" as separate navigation items, which tells you the app lives at its own address after sign-in. Bookmark it so you skip the marketing site on return visits.
Verification: you're in the right place when you can see the tool menu — Marketing Overview, Website Reviews, Keyword Tracking, Competitors, and Site Crawl. If you only see marketing pages, you're still on the public site rather than in the app.
Common snag: the Free Trial link points to a specific plan registration page. If you intended to evaluate a different tier, check the Pricing page first so you register for the plan you actually want to test.
Know what's inside before you commit
The navigation reveals the scope of the product, which helps you decide whether the trial is worth your time.
- Website Reviews — the same instant analysis, but saved and repeatable.
- Keyword Tracking — monitor rankings for chosen terms.
- Competitors — compare your site against others.
- Site Crawl — scan your own site's pages for issues.
- Marketing Overview — a dashboard view across the above.
- Sales and Lead Gen — Sales Overview, White-label Reports, and a Lead Generation Tool aimed at agencies and sales teams.
- API and Bulk Reporting — programmatic access and reporting at scale.
- Accessibility (accessScan) — a compliance check separate from the SEO Review.
For agencies, the site describes API calls, multi-site analysis and reporting, and benchmarking/indexing across hundreds or thousands of websites as the agency offering. If you manage many client sites, that's the section to read before choosing a plan.
Check accessibility compliance separately
WooRank treats ADA/WCAG compliance as its own check rather than part of the standard SEO Review. The homepage asks "Are you ADA and WCAG compliant?" and offers a "Check my accessibility" action powered by accessScan. Use it when the question you need answered is legal/accessibility exposure rather than search performance — the two checks answer different questions and shouldn't be substituted for one another.
Practical sequence
For most first-time users the efficient order is: run the free Review on your own site → skim the Pricing page → register for the Free Trial → open the app and confirm the modules you need are present → only then invest time in setting up keyword tracking and crawls. That way you spend effort inside the product only after you've seen the analysis quality and confirmed the plan fits.
